Free Guy will see the talented Ryan Reynolds and Jodie Comer team up for the first time on the big screen, but their careers are only going to continue to progress, as they have plenty of other huge projects lined up for the future. However, Free Guy will certainly put even more focus on their remarkable skills.

With both actors returning to some familiar roles or taking on some high-profile projects on the horizon, there’s definitely not a lack of content for fans of the duo. Jodie Comer has slightly fewer movies and TV shows in the works, but there are still a number of potential franchises that her name has been attached to.

10 Ryan Reynolds: Deadpool 3 (TBD)

The Deadpool films have become some of the most successful of the entire X-Men franchise and Marvel Studios are keen to bring the merc with a mouth into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Ryan Reynolds will of course be returning to the role that he has made famous in the modern era.

The comic book character is a delight to watch but very few details have been released about the third installment of the series. What’s more difficult to understand is which supporting characters will be making their return, considering how the series is linked to the wider Fox universe.

9 Jodie Comer: Killing Eve Season 4 (2022)

Killing Eve is another familiar project for fans, with Jodie Comer really marking her legacy as the villain or potential protagonist of the piece, Villanelle. Throughout the show, she has demonstrated her remarkable talent as well as her skills with various accents and languages.

With the series propelling her into superstardom, it doesn’t mean she’ll leave it behind. Killing Eve will be returning in 2022 with its fourth season, as the tense show continues to progress. The fate of Comer’s character may leave fans breathless.

8 Ryan Reynolds: Red Notice (TBD)

A Netflix film that sees Reynolds starring alongside the likes of Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson, this star-studded line-up sees Reynolds tracking down a notorious art thief. It’s an action thriller and one that puts Reynolds in the center of the action.

While not much else is known about the project thus far, Reynolds will be portraying an Interpol agent. Red Notice doesn’t currently have a release date, but with the project in post-production, it’s more than likely that fans will be able to watch it by the end of the year.

7 Jodie Comer: The Last Duel (2021)

The Last Duel is a highly anticipated project which will be releasing later in 2021. The cast includes the likes of Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, and Adam Driver, with Jodie Comer in one of the lead roles as Marguerite de Carrouges. It’s set during the era of King Henry VI.

There’s already a trailer for the piece, with Comer taking central focus in the historical drama. Based on a true story, this narrative follows a duel which is supposed to decide a dispute for the King, with Comer’s character’s husband involved in the deadly conflict. Based on the footage alone, it looks to be one of Comer’s most intriguing roles yet.

6 Ryan Reynolds: The Adam Project (TBD)

Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Garner, Mark Ruffalo, and Alex Mallari Jr. are just some of the other performers who round out this impressive cast list. Currently in post-production, still images from the film showcase Reynold’s starring role as a time-traveler.

The lead of the piece must actually go into his past to meet his 13-year old self, although the reasons for this are still a secret. A trailer for the project might reveal a little bit more as to the narrative beats, but it’s definitely the kind of sci-fi project that sits firmly in Reynold’s wheelhouse.

5 Jodie Comer: Help (TBD)

A dramatic TV movie with an amazing team behind it, British talents like Angela Griffin and Stephen Graham headline this piece, with Jodie Comer serving as the lead of the exciting project. Help is actually a film that has been designed to highlight the recent global crisis, from a UK perspective.

As a worker in a care home, Comer’s character will have to adapt to the situation, which will be a hugely political narrative to follow. The project doesn’t have an air date as of yet, but is currently in post-production and will tackle some genuinely huge issues.

4 Ryan Reynolds: Spirited (TBD)

Ryan Reynolds has had a couple of brilliant roles that were actually forgotten by audiences, but Spirited has all the marks of being a memorable piece of his filmography. Based on the stories of Charles Dickens, the cast is already packed despite being in the early stages of filming.

Octavia Spencer, Sunita Mani, and Will Ferrell are already credited for the project, with the movie actually being a musical version of the story. It may mean that for one of the first times in cinema history, fans will see Ryan Reynolds in a full-on musical.

3 Jodie Comer: Kitbag (TBD)

Kitbag has a tiny cast attached already, with the project still sitting in pre-production as everything begins to line up. However, the biographical drama has some key characters to follow, with the narrative based around a true story.

It will be following the life and career of Napoleon Bonaparte, from his origins all the way into his final days. Joaquin Phoenix is attached as the lead character but Jodie Comer is heavily rumored to be portraying his wife, Joséphine. Ridley Scott is behind the film.

2 Ryan Reynolds: Clue (TBD)

In one of the many upcoming reboots that Hollywood is working on, Reynolds is involved in the return of Clue, which is based upon the famous board game. Jason Bateman is the other actor associated with the project thus far, with the film clearly taking a comedy route.

Fans will certainly be looking for certain things from the film and there will definitely be some high expectations. With Reynolds as one of the leads though, the actor always seems to understand the assignment, and therefore, as it moves into production, there’s sure to be more reassuring information being released.

1 Jodie Comer: Rumored Roles

Jodie Comer currently only has four confirmed projects in the works, but that doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have a number of other films and TV shows on her plate. She’s previously been attached to the likes of Matilda and Death on the Nile, although scheduling conflicts appear to have prevented this.

While there’s always a chance for the young actor to get a role in a future MCU film considering her recent links to Disney, there are also signs of a future Star Wars appearance considering her very brief cameo as Rey’s mother. There really are no limits to her potential future.
