Fans love Ross and Rachel’s romantic Friends scenes, but the couple also has some silly moments that make up the ups and downs of their love story.

In a Reddit thread about the best episodes of this popular sitcom, Reddit user tfan55 said, “Cant go wrong with ‘The one with the Videotape.'” In this season 8 episode, Rachel and Ross have a big fight about who seduced who when they had sex and Rachel became pregnant. It’s shocking to learn that Ross actually filmed it. Ross admits that this was a mistake, as he was working on some public speaking, making this one of the most memorable plotlines.

9 “The One With The Blackout” (S1, E7)

One Redditor wrote, “My all-time favorite is The One With the Blackout!!” and this is definitely a beloved episode.

Some kind of weather event is always going to lead to drama and/or comedy, as a snowstorm, massive amounts of rain, or a blackout forces everyone inside and tensions and fear are running high. In this episode, Ross does his best to let Rachel know that he has romantic feelings for her, and while he’s fairly awkward at this moment, fans swoon over it and wish that they could start dating at this exact moment.

8 “The One With The Cat” (S4, E2)

Reddit user Elessaria loves “The One With The Cat” and wrote, “I love Chandler and Joey getting robbed..from a comedy perspective of course.”

While the main storyline of this season 4 episode is about Phoebe thinks that the ghost of Lily, her adoptive mom, is inside of a cat, someone steals Chandler and Joey’s furniture which results in a hilarious and chaotic situation. Since one of the main themes of Friends is the main characters getting through the hard parts of life, this storyline is great, and viewers love seeing Chandler and Joey’s misfortune.

7 “The One Where Ross And Rachel… You Know” (S2, E15)

Of all the Friends episodes about Ross and Rachel, this season 2 episode stands out since it focuses on their first time.

Reddit user I_the_m likes it for a few other reasons. The fan wrote, “It also had Joey and Chandler on the recliners, Monica and Richard. Just a great all-around episode.” Joey makes so much money from Days Of Our Lives that he buys two comfortable chairs and lives his dream of having a great place to watch TV. Monica also is attracted to Richard and worried about their age gap, which will become a problem later when she comes to terms with breaking up with him because she wants children.

6 “The One Where No One’s Ready” (S3, E2)

There are several Friends episodes that make fans laugh while also showcasing how different the characters are from each other, and it’s these separate personality traits that really makes the sitcom work.

While fans don’t like when Rachel and Joey become more than friends, it’s definitely interesting to see Ross learning about this romance as it’s tough for him to handle the news.

4 “The One With The Football” (S3, E9)

The Thanksgiving episodes of Friends are all memorable, with this season 3 one standing out thanks to the characters playing football and Ross and Monica reverting back to the competitive way that they used to behave around each other. The episode perfectly captures the fun vibe of the holiday, as many people do enjoy playing a friendly game before or after the big deal, with the added humor of Ross and Monica’s sibling relationship.
