There was quite a bit of mixing and mingling within the Friends gang, but surprisingly, Ross and Phoebe never got together. Well, besides that one time they kissed in “The One with the Flashback,” but that never went anywhere. It’s unfortunate considering they could have made such a great pair. This episode revealed that Ross and Phoebe have chemistry on some level and it would have been great to see them give a romantic relationship a shot.

10 Ross Cares For Phoebe

It’s obvious that Ross cares deeply for Phoebe. For instance, when Ross learns that Phoebe never had a bike of her own, he goes out of his way to get her one. Not only does he gift her an entire bicycle, but he also teaches her how to ride it.

Ross also shows his love for Phoebe during season five when he finds out that she is mad at him and is determined to find out why and make things right. Ross would have been a great boyfriend for Phoebe by providing her with some of the stability and love that she lacked earlier in life.

The idea of Phoebe and Ross getting together isn’t too wild considering they’ve actually kissed before. In a season three episode of Friends, a flashback reveals that Ross and Phoebe kissed after Ross found out about Carol. It’s true that Marcel caused Ross a great deal of trouble throughout the series but it was evident that Ross would do anything for that capuchin monkey.

The same can be said for Phoebe. In a season one episode, Phoebe took a dart in order to save Marcel which just further proves her love for all living things.

Some of the best relationships are the ones that started out as a best-friendships, like Monica and Chandler’s for example. Their relationship was the most stable relationship in the entire series which could very well be due to the strong foundation they built it on. It definitely seems like Ross and Phoebe have what it takes to go the distance, just like Monica and Chandler.

Phoebe and Ross have known each other for a long time, get along well, and care deeply for each other. All they need is a little chemistry and it’s clear they have that as well.
