Netflix’s Fuller House season 4 brings back most of the original characters from Full House and continues their respective stories. Michelle Tanner will, sadly, still be absent in the upcoming season as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen continue to refuse to appear in the reboot, but the new Fuller House outing won’t have a shortage of familiar faces. Along with them are new characters played by well-known guest stars making the upcoming season potentially the best so far.

Debuting in 2016, Fuller House centers on DJ Tanner, the eldest of the Tanner sisters who, like her father, has been widowed at a young age after her firefighter husband died during a mission, thus leaving her to raise three young boys on her own. Her sister, Stephanie, and best friend, Kimmy Gibbler, move into the Tanner family home to help her get through this difficult time in her life. It’s a quite interesting recreation of the original series, but it hasn’t left everyone with a positive taste.

Fuller House season 1 received generally negative reviews from audiences and critics alike, but seasons 2 and 3 started to tick up in the positive direction. And now, the cast and crew behind Fuller House season 4 is aiming to give fans a worthwhile season 4, in case season 4 ends up being its final season. While that remains to be seen, it looks like Fuller House‘s cast and list of guest stars will make the journey all the better.

Candace Cameron Bure as DJ Tanner-Fuller and Scott Weinger as Steve Hale: As Full House‘s quintessential teen couple, Fuller House revisited DJ Tanner and Steve Hale’s postponed love affair after they married different people.
