An alleged leak has possibly revealed the full map of Inazuma, a new region coming to Genshin Impact in the game’s next update. The free-to-play RPG from developer miHoYo has received constant support through updates and in-game events since its launch in September 2020. Genshin Impact allows players to explore the fantasy world of Teyvat, meeting and recruiting fellow heroes along the way, and the game’s map continues to grow.

The latest update for Genshin Impact, Version 1.6, made a number of additions and changes as a way to welcome the summer season. The summer-themed update added a number of new cosmetic options, allowing players to dress their characters for some fun in the sun. The new skins for Jean and Barbara were created for Version 1.6’s story content, “Midsummer Island Adventure”, which features both characters in a crucial role. The island-hopping update added a fair bit of content, such as a new beach location to explore and boat travel to let players escape the heat and hit the waves. The latest Genshin Impact update also made additions to the game’s housing system, allowing companion characters to enter players’ Serenitea Pot and hang out in their customized home.

A map of Genshin Impact‘s upcoming new region, Inazuma, has allegedly been leaked by the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor server on Discord. The map of Inazuma in question (which looks quite authentic) was recently shared by the game’s fan community, having been compiled by Holyco. The map fits information that has already been revealed about the nation of Inazuma, such as its various mountainous islands. However, it is impossible to verify whether this map is legitimate or simply the creative imagining of a dedicated fan.

While it is impossible to verify the authenticity of the Inazuma map leak, there have been recent leaks from Genshin Impact 1.7’s beta that are much easier to confirm. These leaks seemingly reveal the appearance of Baal, the Archon deity who presides over the land of Inazuma. A new playable character, Yoimiya, has also been confirmed to appear in Version 1.7 by miHoYo.

Genshin Impact‘s ever-expanding world ensures that players always have new content to discover when they return to the game. The game’s loyal fanbase has proven that this consistent support is beneficial to a game’s health, and the anticipated journey to Inazuma would be a huge addition to the game’s already commendable amount of content. While this supposedly leaked map of Inazuma is by no mean official, the layout does seem to match what miHoYo has already revealed about the tropical land.

Genshin Impact is available on PS4, PS5, iOS, Android and PC.
