Genshin Impact 2.7 Banner Leaks & Rumors

Leaks for Genshin Impact 2.7 continue to surface from datamines and the latest beta test, pointing at which characters should get their own Banners – and reruns – in the next update. Despite HoYoverse’s continued crackdown on leakers, new characters, gameplay mechanics, and more usually surface online around the time a new beta test begins. As with any leaks, it’s important to realize these may change or be inaccurate at times. However, the leaks do provide which character Banners should be arriving in Genshin Impact soon.

Yelan and Kuki Shinobu were new characters revealed officially already. However, HoYoverse hasn’t confirmed them for Genshin Impact 2.7 quite yet. Based on the way the developer reveals new characters, it’s practically guaranteed, though. Fans will likely have to wait a bit longer – until the 2.7 Special Program livestream – to know for sure.

The latest Genshin Impact 2.7 Banner leaks come via Little_Kazuha on Reddit, with the disclaimer that some of it is “questionable.” However, leakers have a pretty good track record with Genshin Impact, so it’s certainly possible these are accurate. According to this leak, 5-star Arataki Itto will get a rerun in 2.7 while Kazuha will be featured on a rerun in the 2.8 update.

Genshin Impact Leaks Tease Itto & Kazuha Banner Reruns

Itto is a Geo user whose Banner, Oni’s Royale, originally ran as a part of the Version 2.3 update. Kazuha, meanwhile, first appeared in Version 1.6 and despite appearing in the game’s story since then, he’s long overdue for a Banner rerun. Kazuha was rumored to get a rerun in both Versions 2.4 and 2.6, so this latest leak putting him Genshin Impact 2.8 should be taken with a grain of salt. He’s a popular character, though, so HoYoverse could certainly be getting ready to rerun him. The compiled leaks from Reddit can be found below:

Kuki Shinobu has ties to the Arataki Gang, so an Itto Banner rerun in Genshin Impact 2.7 certainly makes sense. Interestingly, though, this leak has Itto and Yelan running in 2.7 and makes no mention of Kuki Shinobu. This could be simply a mistranslation, which the Reddit post mentions. For now, all of this is unconfirmed by HoYoverse, so fans will need to wait a while longer to know for sure how accurate these leaks are.

Typically, characters aren’t explicitly and officially confirmed for an update until the Special Program livestream. However, given that Yelan and Kuki Shinobu were revealed on social media already, it’s almost certain the two of them will appear on Banners in Genshin Impact 2.7. What isn’t so certain is whether or not Itto will get a rerun in the next update, although it seems likely.
