Genshin Impact: Beidou Farming Guide

In order for players to complete Beidou’s ascension in Genshin Impact, they’ll need to obtain 46 Lightning Prisms, 168 Noctilucous Jade, 18 Treasure Hoarder Insignias, 30 Silver Raven Insignias, and 36 Gold Raven Insignias. Finding all of the necessary materials for Beidou’s ascension in Genshin Impact can be very time-consuming, but there are some easy ways to farm for these items. Players will also need to obtain additional Insignias and a few other materials to max out Beidou’s talents.

As Captain of the Crux, Beidou is a strong and serious character that helps the Traveler on their journey. Beidou uses the Crux to help the Traveler sneak into Inazuma, and after that quest is finished, players can complete a Hangout event with her using two Story Keys. Beidou’s Hangout in Genshin Impact has multiple endings to explore, but players can also add Beidou to their party and level her up to become a strong team member.

Beidou is a four-star Electro character in Genshin Impact that players can invite to their party for 1,000 Thunder Pellets and 1,000 Thunder Crystals. Thunder Pellets can be bought or obtained by completing challenges during the Thunder Sojourn event. Thunder Crystals are awarded to players for defeating the Automaton Front event boss. Once players have enough of each material, they can invite Beidou to their party and start farming resources for her ascension and talent upgrades.

Farming Ascension Materials for Beidou in Genshin Impact

Players will need three types of Insignias for Beidou’s ascension in Genshin Impact. To get the Treasure Hoarder, Silver Raven, and Golden Raven Insignias, players will need to defeat Treasure Hoarders in Mondstadt, Liyue, and Inazuma. The Treasure Hoarders can be found near ruins or temples, and they spawn more frequently in the southern part of Liyue or in the Guili Plains. Once players have enough of each Insignia, they can move on to farming for Noctilucous Jade.

Players need a total of 168 Noctilucous Jade, and it can be difficult to obtain such a large amount. Players can buy some Noctilucous Jade from Shitou in Liyue Harbor for 1,000 Mora each. The only other way to get this resource is to mine it in any of the caves found around Liyue, and specifically near Mingyun Village. It’s a luminescent material that players should be able to easily spot in dark caves or at night. The last item players need for Beidou’s ascension is Lightning Prisms.

To obtain Lightning Prisms, players will need to defeat the level 30 Electro Hypostasis in Genshin Impact. The Electro Hypostasis can be found near Cape Oath in Mondstadt. Using characters like Chongyun or Diluc, players can quickly defeat this difficult boss. Players will need to defeat the Electro Hypostasis several times to obtain the 46 Lightning Prisms needed for Beidou’s ascension.

Farming Talent Materials for Beidou in Genshin Impact

Players can farm materials for Beidou’s talents to increase her combat abilities. While players are gathering Insignias for ascension, they can also collect an additional 18 Treasure Hoarder, 66 Silver Raven, and 93 Golden Raven Insignias to max out Beidou’s talents. Players will need to defeat Stormterror Dvalin weekly to collect 18 Dvalin Sighs as well. Defeating the boss is the only way to obtain the Dvalin Sighs.

To completely max out Beidou’s talents, players will also need to purchase Teachings of Gold, Guide to Gold, and Philosophies of Gold from Taishan Mansion. These books are available to purchase on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Finally, players will need to obtain three Crown of Insight items in Genshin Impact, which are awarded for major events. With all of the materials gathered, players will be able to max out Beidou’s talents and increase her combat abilities.

Obtaining enough of every resource needed to fully enhance Beidou can be time-consuming, but the end result is worth the grind. Beidou is a formidable Electro character that can become very powerful when players upgrade her and equip her with the right gear. Players looking to form a top-tier team can add Beidou to their party, complete her ascension, and max out her talents in Genshin Impact.
