Genshin Impact is an ever-expanding experience, with HoYoverse consistently adding new characters in regular updates. First added as a playable character in September 2021, Raiden Shogun is a popular character that’s served as the centerpiece of several teams. The most recent update to the game, Genshin Impact 2.6 added Kamisato Ayato as a powerful 5-star Hydro addition to the ARPG’s lineup.

Reddit user SammichIzGud recently paid tribute to the Electro vessel Raiden by animating a piece of official art created by HoYoverse. The breathtaking project brings the Electro Archon to life through movement, as the nation lets her hair blow in the wind while a butterfly on her finger flaps its wings. Flower petals drifting through the air add depth to the image, as the serene scene shows Raiden Shogun in a moment of peace and contemplation. SammichIzGud even added somber music to the animated piece, and the melody sets a perfect mood for the beautiful tribute.

HoYoverse recently announced two more playable characters coming to Genshin Impact. New characters Yelan and Kuki Shinobu have previously been teased through leaks, but both upcoming heroes have now been officially revealed in official art. The mysterious Yelan, referred to as the Valley Orchid, is said to be a powerful Hydro user. Meanwhile, the Electro user Kuki Shinobu serves as the deputy leader of the Arataki Gang ran by current playable character Arataki Itto. Both of these unique figures will presumably be added to Genshin Impact in the upcoming Version 2.7 update.
