Genshin Impact: Zhongli’s Best Character Build

Zhongli is one of the new playable characters in the 1.1 update for Genshin Impact. Featured heavily in the Liyue portion of the main story, Zhongli is a 5-star character who wields polearms in battle. He’s also a Geo user, capable of petrifying enemies and causing AoE damage. Although Zhongli is already going to be one of the best characters in the game, he can get even stronger with the right character build.

Lots of Genshin Impact fans are eager to have Zhongli in their party, but as a 5-star character, he’s going to be incredibly difficult to pull through the game’s Wish system at Genshin Impact’s current RNG drop rates. Players who are lucky enough to acquire him will notice that Zhongli is incredibly fast and can rack up damage quickly. His Geo-based moves are equally powerful, making him a great addition to any team.

Of all the new characters in Genshin Impact’s 1.1 update, Zhongli may be the most desired by fans. He was already incredibly popular from the main story, and fans are eager to recruit him after Zhongli was leaked as a playable character last month. Because of how fast Zhongli is, and because his attacks are so powerful, the best weapons and Artifacts for Zhongli should reflect that as well by increasing his ATK and DMG stats.

Best Weapons & Artifacts For Zhongli In Genshin Impact

The best Artifacts in Genshin Impact for Zhongli come from the Gladiator’s Finale set, since these increase his ATK by 18%. If four pieces are equipped, he’ll also get a Normal Attack DMG increase of 35% since he uses polearms in battle. The Resolution of Sojourner set works well too and is more common. These Artifacts increase his ATK by 18% as well, but if four pieces are equipped, the CRIT rate of Zhongli’s Charged Attack is boosted by 30%.

The best polearms in Genshin Impact for Zhongli should also focus on raising his ATK stats and increasing his damage output. The Skyward Spine can make a great weapon for him, since it increases CRIT by 8% and ATK SPD by 12%, and also gives Normal and Charged Attacks a chance to deal 40% of ATK as AoE damage. The Primordial Jade Winged-Spear also works great, because it increases ATK by up to 6% but can stack up to seven times. However, both of these polearms are 5-star Genshin Impact weapons. The Halberd is a far more common 3-star weapon, and it can work well too since it allows Normal Attacks to cause up to 320% more damage every 10 seconds.

Now that the 1.1 update for Genshin Impact is out, many fans of the game will be trying to get Zhongli on their teams. While the character is incredibly rare, he’s also incredibly powerful. With the best character build, Zhongli can become even stronger and hit even harder.
