Sucker Punch Productions, the studio behind series such as Sly Cooper and Infamous have come forward with a new IP, an open world Samurai game that explores the 13th century during the first Mongol invasion of Japan. Players will explore this area, take down camps, upgrade their armor, and ride on a horse through a beautifully crafted world. Here are the best charms players can encounter in Ghost of Tsushima and how players can find them.

Charms are items that the player can equip to help fix the characters build. The player will have 2 major charms while being able to equip 4 smaller ones. Throughout their journey, players will unlock more charms along the way. Players can collect these charms in a variety of ways like completing main story quests, side quests, and visiting shrines. Although, not every charm is cut from the same cloth. Some charms are much more valuable to the player and will aid them more on their quest. Here’s how players can find the best shrines in the game.

The Best Charms in Ghost of Tsushima (& How To Find Them)

Charms are broken into two different categories, Major and Minor Charms. Here are some of the best in the game

  • Major Charm: Charm of Mizu-no-Kami: Parries, Perfect Parries, and Perfect Dodges are easier to perform. This one is self-explanatory. To unlock it, players can find it at the Spring Falls Shrine in the center-north of the Act 1 map, between Kukai’s Falls and Old Woodsman’s Canopy.
  • Major Charm: Charm of Inari: Increase supplies, predator hides, bamboo, and yew wood gained from collecting. This makes it easier to find resources, especially for players trying to craft everything in the game. Players can find it at Arrow Peak Shrine in the southeast corner of the Act 1 map, between Archer’s Rise and Sakimori Overlook.
  • Major Charm: Charm of Amaterasu: Killing enemies restores a moderate amount of health. Players can find this one the Golden Summit Shrine to the south of Golden Temple in the middle of the Act 1 map. Head northeast of the Winding Trail.
  • Minor Charm: Charm of Resistance: Reduces all damage by a Minor/Moderate amount. More defense is always a good thing. Players can find this one for finishing the Tales of Tsushima which gives you a minor charm.
  • Minor Charm: Charm of Inari’s Might: Increases health and Melee damage by a Massive amount. Complete the fox den shrines, it will give a massive bonus in Act 3.

These charms are helpful for completing the game and finishing the side quests. Players will need to find all the charms in the game to 100% but these charms help in almost every situation. Ghost of Tsushima has been positively received from critics and reviews.
