The Sarugami Armor is one of the newest sets available in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut. In the base game, players are able to travel around Tsushima and complete quests to unlock additional armor sets, accessories, and dyes. The new armor sets come with buffs, such as allowing more forgiving parry windows, more strength, and defense against certain projectiles.

With the Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, players are now able to explore the new Iki Island, a neighboring island that has been overrun by the Mongol empire. It is now up to Jin to travel to this new land and liberate it. Players will also be able to find and collect the Sarugami Armor set through one of the Mythic Tales there.

Before players can access the Iki Island expansion, they will need to complete the first act of the game. Iki Island features new mechanics for players to try out. This is especially essential for those playing on the PlayStation 5 for the first time. The first act will only take players about three to five hours to complete. Those who have already completed the game just need to load up their older save file and begin the Iki Island expansion.

Follow The Wind To The Sarugami Armor in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut

Upon arriving on Iki Island in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, the entire location is available for free roam. Players will need to head over to their Mythic Tales list and select “The Legend of Black Hand Riku.” This will begin the quest for the Sarugami Armor.

Players can then follow the wind to a storyteller who will explain the legend of Black Hand Riku. The legend states that Riku’s armor saved his life after his crew attempted to overthrow him. Following this conversation, players will need to head to the base of Thunderhead Cliffs. There will be a save with torches for players to light using the flaming arrows in the area. If they continue to follow the path, they will encounter Riku himself. Now, players will just need to defeat him and loot him of his armor. That is how players can get their hands on the Sarugami Armor.

The Sarugami Armor in Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut allows players to get three chain attacks with a perfect parry, but it does disable the basic parry function. This armor is solid, but only for those players who can get the parry timing down. After finding the armor set, there are still tons of hidden secrets left for players to uncover in Iki Island.
