The zodiac is made up of 12 signs, which correspond to certain constellations and which are associated with different times throughout the year. Based on when a person is born, there is a sign and some traits for them (including strengths, weaknesses, and interests), with which they probably identify. 

On the teen drama TV show Gossip Girl, there were definitely some strong personalities, and there were known birth dates, as well. With the birth dates, fans can figure out the Gossip Girl zodiac signs. They do match up pretty well with how the characters are portrayed in the show. Fans of the book series might see some differences, but for the most part, they’re accurate. That being said, everyone can look down below, the zodiac signs of the characters from this popular show.

12 Aquarius – Vanessa 

Aquarius birthdays go from January 20 to February 19, which means that Vanessa Abrams was one, as she entered the world on February 19. Some traits related to this sign include being creative and unique, which certainly sounds like this character. From the documentaries she made to the vibrant outfits she wore, Vanessa is a true Aquarius. She paves her own path with her own style, not allowing herself to get sucked too far into the world of Gossip Girl.

11 Pisces – Eric 

Next up would be Pisces, with birth dates ranging from February 20 to March 20. These types are caring and sensitive, just like Eric van der Woodsen. He was born on  February 21, and he was one of the most genuine characters in the series. He was not afraid to share his feelings, and he let his loved ones know he was there for them. Though he doesn’t spend as long in the series as some of the other characters, his characterization is definitely one of the most compatible of the Gossip Girl character zodiac signs.

10 Aries – Nate / Jenny 

Aries are associated with the dates going from March 21 to April 19, and they are outgoing, passionate, and to the point. Two major characters fall into this category, as Nate was born on April 5 and Jenny, on March 30.

These two were both quite social. Nate’s love life alone made him show off that passion trait! And Jenny certainly did not fear speaking up and speaking out, especially when she was on her quest to become the queen bee. Some fans might have found her to be one of the worst characters when she went down that path, but Jenny was really demonstrating that impulsive and passionate Aries nature.

9 Taurus – Dan 

Those born anywhere from April 20 to May 20 will find Taurus as their zodiac sign. Taurans are typically dependable and ambitious, as well as a bit stubborn. This fits Dan Humphrey well, which makes sense, as his birthday was April 20. He was a good guy, deep down, who tried to do the right thing. Dan wanted to fit in, but he also wanted to expose the hypocrisy in the Upper East Side. He also had goals he wanted to reach. All of those aspects tended to conflict in him. He could also be stuck in his ways, not wanting to adapt to be in the glitzy world of Gossip Girl.

8 Gemini – Ivy 

Those who are vibrant, as well as a bit impulsive, may have entered the world somewhere between May 21 and June 20, and these people are Geminis. This Gossip Girl astrology sign belongs to Ivy Dickens, born on June 12. She was a colorful and extroverted young woman, and impulsive could definitely be a word to describe her pretending to be someone else, lying to everyone, kicking a family out of their home, and so on. She was a great communicator, like most social Geminis, but she used her Gemini charm and adaptability to con people.

7 Cancer – Serena 

One of the stars of the Upper East Side is a Cancer. Serena van der Woodsen’s birthday is on July 14. The birth dates range from June 21 to July 22, and the positive traits include being protective and persuasive, while the negative ones may be moody and manipulative.

All of these traits apply well to Serena. She’s incredibly protective of the people she cares about, setting up elaborate plans to get back at people who wrong them. Serena van Der Woodsen’s zodiac sign of Cancer also fits perfectly when it comes to the more negative traits; she can also be incredibly manipulative when she doesn’t get her way, even hurting her best friend Blair as a result.

6 Leo – Eleanor 

The next character on this list is a parent: Eleanor Waldorf. She was born on August 20, making her a Leo, as their birthdays fall between July 23 and August 22. The traits of these types include being fiery, passionate, and brave. As a protective mother and a hard-working professional, she certainly fits well into this category!

5 Virgo – CeCe Rhodes

Virgos enter the world at some point in the dates ranging from August 23 to September 22, and they are practical to the point of being critical at times. While her birthday was not officially confirmed in the show, this does sound like CeCe Rhodes. She was the matriarch of the family, and she wanted things her way…or else.

4 Libra – Bart

Next up would be Libras, born between September 23 and October 22. Libras tend to be diplomatic and intelligent, which sounds sort of like Bart Bass. They tend to be able to examine all angles of a situation and play devil’s advocate. A lot of the time, Bart is more devil than advocate, but these are still some nice ways to put this straight-to-business man! 

3 Scorpio – Blair / Georgina 

Fans who want to know Blair Waldorf’s zodiac sign are in luck as her birthday is revealed in the series. Scorpios find their birth dates anywhere from October 23 to November 21, like Blair Waldorf, who was born on November 15, and Georgina Sparks, who was born on November 8. These people can be confident and brave, and they can also be intense and obsessive. From their day-to-day activities to their infamous schemes, these words for sure describe these two brunette characters. Neither of these women is afraid to go after what they want, but they also tend to keep their feelings as close to the vest as possible, making it hard for them to get close to new friends, another hallmark of a Scorpio.

2 Sagittarius – Rufus

Capricorns are serious and disciplined, and this can even come across as stubborn. While Chuck Bass certainly knows how to have fun and takes a few years before growing up and getting serious, this sounds like him.  And that makes sense: A Capricorn enters the world in dates ranging from December 22 to January 19, and Chuck’s birthday was January 19.
