After substantial gameplay footage and a cinematic reveal at FanDome, DC has pulled back the curtain on WB Montreal’s upcoming game, Gotham Knights. The game features at least four playable characters: Batgirl, Robin, Red Hood, and Nightwing. However, many other characters from the Batman universe will also appear.

The voice cast for Gotham Knights has officially been announced, and quite a few of the actors are recognizable from their previous work. Voice actors for Gotham Knights’ multiple playable characters, as well as iconic figures like Alfred Pennysworth, were all revealed recently. Now, thanks to tweets shared from the official Gotham Knights Twitter account, fans have faces to go with the voices in the trailer.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

America Young is voicing Barbara Gordon, aka Batgirl, in Gotham Knights. Young has voiced Barbie in several shows and movies based around the popular Mattel figure, but her video game voice-work includes a couple of Saints Row titles and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2. She’s joined by Sloane Morgan Siegel, who voices Tim Drake’s alter-ego, Robin. Siegel has appeared on several TV shows, including NCIS and The Goldbergs, but this appears to be his first time voice acting for a video game.

Gotham Knights’ Voice Cast

One of the other playable characters in Gotham Knights, Red Hood, is voiced by Stephen Oyoung. Jason Todd’s Red Hood is in good hands, since Oyoung’s video game acting credits include Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4, Death Stranding, and The Elder Scrolls Online. Dick Grayson’s version of Nightwing is voiced by Christopher Sean, perhaps best known from Days of Our Lives or his voice-work on Star Wars: Resistance. Sean’s recent video game credits besides Gotham Knights includes additional voices for games like Marvel’s Avengers and Ghost of Tsushima.

Then there’s Alfred Pennysworth, Batman’s loyal butler and right-hand man. Alfred is being voiced by Gildart Jackson, who played Gideon on Charmed and voices Flyseyes on Netflix’s Castlevania series. As for who voices Bruce Wayne’s Batman in the Gotham Knights trailer, that’s been a mystery irking fans since DC FanDome. After being pressed on the matter, it’s been officially revealed that Michael Antonakos voices the supposedly dead Batman in the trailer. Antonakos played Vlad in the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Alexios in  Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey.

So far, these are all the voice actors who have been officially revealed. Now, finally, fans are able to put some faces to the voices featured in the Gotham Knights trailer. The game is set to release in 2021, so additional characters (and their voice actors) will likely release in the interim.
