The main campaign of Grand Theft Auto 5 is an immersive story that will take the player dozens of hours to complete. Here’s what players can do once they complete the base game of Grand Theft Auto 5. The original game released back towards the end of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360’s life. For the first time, the player was able to switch around between 3 different playable characters, each with their own goals and ambitions. Michael, Trevor, and Franklin all work together with stealing cars, making money, and setting things right (or horribly wrong depending on who you ask). Here’s what players can do after they finish the base game.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Grand Theft Auto 5 is an interesting title to release within the last decade. It’s one of those titles that will continue to transcend generations with new ports with every new console. The game originally released on the PlayStation 3 but has been ported over to the PlayStation 4. Not only that, but a port is planned for 2021 for the highly anticipated PlayStation 5. While the main story has remained untouched with new content, its online game mode has been so heavily supported, it can constitute as its own game. Although, there’s still so much to do with Grand Theft Auto 5. Here’s what players can do after completing the game.

Play The Online Mode in Grand Theft Auto 5

This one is a no brainer. The online mode of Grand Theft Auto 5 is the biggest reason why this game continues to be relevant. Rockstar Games continues to support this game mode with new content every few weeks. Players can create their own unique character and play a majority of what the base game has to offer but with friends by their side. There’s a reason why the game has been ported a million times and it is because of GTA Online.

Achieve Gold Medals in Grand Theft Auto 5

Gold Medals are rewarded to players who complete missions under certain criteria. Fortunately, every mission can be replayed in the game. This can include beating the mission within a certain time, getting a certain number of kills, or getting minimal damage. These can be extremely challenging to unlock but are very rewarding to collect.

Discover The Supernatural in Grand Theft Auto 5

There are so many special and creepy things for players to discover in Grand Theft Auto 5. For a game about killing and stealing, the game surprisingly has a lot of mystical things that the player can find. This includes aliens, Bigfoot, ghosts, and demons for players to find in the world. Explore Los Santos and find these creatures in the darkest and dampest corners of the world.

Explore Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto 5

There’s a ridiculous amount of optional content in the game. From golfing, to tennis, to a shooting range, to darts, to yoga. Just hop in the car and see what you can find in the city. Every street is full of personality and mini-games that will keep the player coming back for more. Players can also invite  NPCs to join them in many of these tasks. It’s great for those who don’t have access to online.

It’s a shame that the main story has received no updates for new missions. Exploring these characters again with new content would have been nice to experience. Although the online mode is full of so much to do, players will hardly want to go back to offline. Although, not everything from single-player is available in multiplayer, allowing offline Los Santos to have its own secrets to find.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
