In Grand Theft Auto V there are a lot of collectibles spread across the map that players are able to track down. Once players boot up GTA Online, there are even more things for them to spend time collecting. The newest ones added to the game are the Signal Jammers. Fifty of these objects have been spread across the map for players to destroy, and taking care of all of them will unlock a new hacker for the casino heist.

These small black boxes are spread throughout the map in locations that make them difficult to see most of the time. They do have a flashing light and emit a faint beeping noise that will help players pinpoint their general location though. Players will want to bring a sniper rifle with them on their quest to eliminate all these signal jammers, as they are typically in high up and far away locations. This guide will help players track them down.

The map above has all fifty signal jammer locations marked so that players can track down the general areas of these objects. When players arrive in these areas, they will most likely have trouble determining exactly where the jammers are at. They are typically high in the air on billboards, buildings, or other high up objects. Players will want to comb the area thoroughly while listening for the sound of its beeping. If that doesn’t work, players can also return when it is darker outside to make searching for the blinking light a little easier.

Long ranged weapons are crucial for taking out the signal jammers since they are so high up. Players can use the sniper rifle, or even pilot a helicopter with attached weapons. The helicopter will make it easier to search high up locations, but players should keep in mind that the loud noises and erratic movements of the vehicle may make it difficult to look closer. The upside though is that the jammers can be locked on to with homing missiles, so armed helicopters make shooting jammers down much simpler. Using either method will help players destroy all fifty in no time though.

Once all of the signal jammers are destroyed, players will unlock the new hacker Avi Schwartzman. Avi will be able to join the player’s crew whenever they attempt the casino heist mission and are a perfect addition to the team. His superior hacking skills will enable players to disable security systems and give themselves more time to complete their mission. Another plus is that every jammer destroyed will award players with $2,000 and 1000 RP, and therefore can be a great way to earn money and experience.
