The new Career Builder in Grand Theft Auto Online allows the player to choose their own path to financial success with options of businesses, vehicles, and weapons. Unfortunately, this option is only available on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game. However, players can still carry over their previous character from the PS4 or Xbox One version.

If the player chooses to carry over their previous character to the new version, they will need to create a new character to enter the Career Builder. The idea of Career Builder is to integrate new players into the world of Grand Theft Auto Online at less of a disadvantage. Players transitioning from the older version will have the option to use their previous character in GTA Online or start a new one with Career Builder at any time since the game allows two characters per account.

The Career Builder with a new character will start the player off with $4 million. However, this can be used on assets, including a business, vehicles, and weapons. Unfortunately, only $1 million can be carried over into the game after these selections. Below are the best choices the player can make when starting Career Builder in Grand Theft Auto Online.

Choosing The Best Business In Career Builder on GTA Online

Before getting to the vehicles or weapons, there are four different business options for the player to choose from. The choices are Executive, Gunrunner, Nightclub Owner, and Biker. Each option comes with its benefits and choices.

  • Executive: Designed for active players that typically play solo, this business comes with two primary sources of income and one secondary source of income. The player can purchase both an office and a warehouse before the vehicle and weapon selection.
  • Gunrunner: This is the most profitable and solo-friendly business choice. The main goal is to produce weapons, and the player gets to purchase a bunker and an upgrade pack before the vehicle and weapon selection.
  • Nightclub Owner: Least profitable, but also requires the least amount of work. Promoting the nightclub is the only mission, and the player collects daily income from popularity. The player can purchase a nightclub and an upgrade before selecting a vehicle in GTA Online and weapon.
  • Biker: Medium profitability, but also requires less capital to get started. The main goal is to produce and sell illegal drugs. The player will purchase a clubhouse and business before selecting weapons and vehicles.

There are four unique choices, but the best option is the Executive business. It requires less capital investment while still providing plenty of opportunity for income in Grand Theft Auto Online. First, the player should select the cheapest office since the location is unimportant. This is the Maze Bank West for GTA$1 million. Then a medium size warehouse should be selected, and the best choice here is the Derriere Lingerie Backlot for GTA$902,000.

Choosing The Best Vehicle and Weapons In Career Builder on GTA Online

With a little under $2.1 million left to spend after the business selections, the player should be able to select some strong vehicles and weapons. GTA Online‘s Karin Karuma (Armored) is the most sensible selection for the player’s vehicle. This armored car will protect while completing missions and not break the bank at the cost of only GTA $698,500.

Selecting a weapon that can be used in a Karuma is crucial to completing missions. The ‘Heavy Pistol’ is a solid choice along with the Vom Feuer Marksman Rifle and Shrewsbury Compact Rifle. The Vom Feuer Machine Pistol is another recommended selection.

The goal is to get as close to spending a total of $3 million as possible to maximize the amount of money carried over into Grand Theft Auto Online, which is capped at $1 million. These selections should get the player started with a hefty bank load and solid assets.

GTA Online is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC.
