The Railgun is available as a purchasable gun during the main campaign. The player will need to complete the Minor Turbulence mission and players can find it on sale at Ammu-Nation for $250,000. Players can receive a significant discount on the weapon depending on the type of medal they have. The weapon itself is noted to be the property of the United States government as it is written on the side of the weapon. Although, finding the Railgun is a bit different when it comes to GTA Online. Where To Find The Railgun in GTA Online

The Railgun can be found by participating in a few of the Adversary modes and Bunker Supplies missions. Here is the complete list of locations where players would be able to find them.

  • In the Assault Class loadout during Beast vs. Slasher.
  • Found in the playable area in the Occupy Maps.
  • Found in the Motor Wars game mode.
  • Part of the loadouts during Kill Quota.
  • Part of the Juggernaut loadout during Power Med and Juggernaut.

Unfortunately, there is no method to bring the weapon outside of these modes into the free mod without hacking. This weapon is only available during these specific jobs. This is likely due to the overpowered nature of this weapon but with the mayhem and chaos the GTA series is known for, it is a bummer to find that it can only be found during Adversary Modes.
