How To Turn Voice Chat In GTA Online & Mute Other Players

One way to turn off voice chat in GTA Online is for players to create their own party. Specifically, players need to create a one-person GTA Online party of just themselves. If anyone wants to mute specific people instead of the entire game’s voice chat altogether, this can be done through GTA Online’s Pause Menu. Users will need to select Online, then Players, and then navigate to Options and select “Toggle Mute.”

If someone wants to completely turn off GTA Online’s voice chat, they’ll need to go to the Interaction Menu. From there, players will need to scroll down and select Voice Chat. This will give specific options for who players hear in the game. To turn off GTA Online’s voice chat completely, select “No One” in this menu. After this, whether players are trying to make millions in GTA Online the fast way or just cruising down the streets for fun, they won’t have to listen to other people talking anymore.

Social interaction is a major part of online gaming, but some players just prefer to play alone, or at least without feeling the need to constantly listen and communicate. If that’s the case, or if hearing other people just starts to get annoying, players can be muted and voice chat can thankfully be turned off in GTA Online.
