Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy features many Guardian-related collectibles that players can find for every character. Many of the collectibles are in secret areas that have crafting materials scattered throughout the tight spaces. Be sure to craft the Components Localizer early on, one of the best perks in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy that allows Star-Lord to see when crafting components are nearby, to make the most of exploration in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Finding all 15 collectibles in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy unlocks two Achievements or Trophies. The first achievement called “Thoughtful Captain” is unlocked after finding half of the collectibles, which can be earned as early as chapter 7. The second achievement, called “Managerial Skills,” is earned after finding all of the collectibles.

The collectibles are valuable objects that have meaning to each of the Guardians. They’re found in various locations across nearly every chapter in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Once found, Star-Lord can interact with the objects aboard the Milano to trigger dialogue and a story from the respective Guardian to whom the collectible belongs to. Finding every collectible is one of the reasons it takes so long to beat Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.

Where To Find Every Guardian Collectible In Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy

These are the 15 Guardian collectibles and their locations in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy:

  • Ravager Comm Bracelet (Chapter 1): After Rocket begins the bet with Star-Lord that adds the scoreboard to the HUD, head through the destroyed ship. After the cutscene, continue through the crawlspace to find some gray goo on the right. Destroy the goo to find the Ravager Comm Bracelet.
  • Spinal Control Unit (Chapter 1): Just after grabbing Groot’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2014 movie outfit, Star-Lord is separated from Rocket and Groot. As he makes his way out of the ship Star-Lord is prompted to climb, and upon reaching the first new level there will be some black goo to destroy on the opposite side. Perform a rapid reload to destroy the goo, and collect the Spinal Control Unit. Like finding the battery for the thumper, this collectible is easy to locate.
  • Broken Translation Device (Chapter 2): After reaching Nikki’s hideout, head to the small area with three monitors. The Broken Translation Device is behind the two boxes.
  • Chitauri Sear-Cuffs (Chapter 3): After fighting the creature that escapes, Gamora will need to reach a ledge for Star-Lord in order to break off a piece of the Nova Bomber. Have Drax move the platform to the location opposite of where Gamora grabbed the ledge. Climb up to the cliff’s edge, look down and to the right, and jump another ledge to find the Chitauri Sear-Cuffs.
  • Assassin’s Ring (Chapter 4): The Assassin’s Ring can be in one of two locations that are determined by whether or not Groot or Rocket is sold to Lady Hellbender. If Groot is sold, the ring is in the cell area where he is being held. Head to the first room on the left after coming down the elevator, then search behind the boxes by the cell on the right to find the Assassin’s Ring. After choosing to sell Rocket, head to Lady Hellbender’s vault to search for units. By searching all of the carts along the edges of the room, the Assassin’s Ring will eventually be found as the room fills with gas.
  • Cold Case File (Chapter 5): Re-route the power in the reception area of Ko-Rel’s ship and enter the control room with five computer stations inside. Look to the left of the flight of stairs that Star-Lord will exit through. The Cold Case File is in between the water station and computer terminal.
  • Collector’s Emporium Doll (Chapter 6): Successfully recite Lipless’ song to receive a Collector’s Emporium Ticket. Take the to the Collector’s Emporium to gain access, which avoids paying the 5,000 unit fee. Purchase the Collector’s Emporium Doll for 2,000 units from the gift shop on the right.
  • Drax’s Rap Sheet (Chapter 7): Use Star-Lord’s visor scanner to help find Drax’s Rap Sheet. Before getting through the yellow machinery after restoring gravity, unlock the door on the right using Nikki’s passkey. Destroy the gray goo, then slide between the yellow and blue pipes on the right. While the path looks like a dead end, there is some gray goo above that will release climbable boxes. Reach the level above and find Drax’s Rap Sheet on top of the boxes on the right.
  • Galactic War Commendation (Chapter 7): While Rocket hacks the computer in Ko-Rel’s office, find the Galatic War Commendation in the back left corner of the room by the window.
  • Deep Mine Device (Chapter 8): Following the cutscene where the Guardians discuss The Promise, enter the next room and approach the Workbench. Climb the gears on the right to reach the Deep Mine Device.
  • Mourning Candle (Chapter 10): After defeating the monster that resembles a tiger-squid hybrid, look left for a crack to slide through as the team continues forward. Continue following the path until the cliff is reached. Climb up the cliff to find the Mourning Candle. Drax shares a story detail in Guardians of the Galaxy about his scars when Star-Lord interacts with this candle aboard the Milano.
  • Meditation Stone (Chapter 10): Almost immediately after acquiring Star-Lord’s Wind Shot ability there will be a group of Ogrode enemies that the Guardians will face for the second time in this chapter. Defeat them, then use the Wind Shot on the green glowing statue. Destroy the black and gray goo and continue through to the path filled with gas. Using the Ice and Wind Shots to navigate the path, find the Meditation Stone at the edge.
  • Glarnot Mask (Chapter 12): At the area with a lot of wires that require Gamora’s ability, look to the left to find some enemies. Defeat them quickly by using the best abilities in Guardians of the Galaxy and drop down the gap in the barriers on the righthand side of the area. Shoot the openings in the pipe producing gas on the right side, then cross to find Glarnot Mask.
  • Xatar’s Blade (Chapter 13): After Groot can use his ability to create a path across, find the icy wall on the right where Gamora can use her ability to reach Xatar’s Blade.
  • Deeproot Plant (Chapter 13): Immediately after entering the forest full of poisonous plants, stay to the right-hand side to find the Deeproot Plant in front of two red trees.
