343 Industries and Dr. Squatch have partnered for the official release of Halo Infinite soap, designed to help fans smell like the Master Chief himself. Halo Infinite is already looking like one of the year’s biggest games, with Halo‘s developer and Xbox already launching a number of partnerships and promotions ahead of its December launch.

Halo fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of the next game in the series, which is set to push new-gen Xbox consoles and PCs to their limits with the most expansive campaign in the series to date. While Xbox has been primarily focused on highlighting the game’s multiplayer through trailers, gameplay, and flight tests, fans can expect to see the Master Chief face new and ruthless foes in the campaign. The Banished warrior Escharum is expected to be one of many villains the Master Chief will be facing off against, as revealed in a recent Halo Infinite trailer.

Fans can get the full Master Chief experience in time for Halo Infinite thanks to Dr. Squatch’s new Halo-inspired soap bar. The limited-edition Spartan Scrub comes from an official collaboration with Xbox, and uses aromas of silver sage, yuzu, and cedarwood, while its color pays homage to the greens and oranges of Master Chief himself. In a press release, head of Halo and Xbox consumer products John Friend said of the collaboration:

“Wearing armor all day and saving the universe can be hard work, and sometimes leaves you dirty. When we realized we had the chance to bring Spartan Scrub to Earth with Dr. Squatch, it was an easy decision. Hopefully we can all be clean heroes!”

Dr. Squatch subscribers will be able to get their hands on the Spartan Scrub soap from October 29, priced at $6. Availability will be open to all from November 1, with the soap costing $8 for non-members.

While the majority of Halo fans probably haven’t considered what the Master Chief may smell like, the 343 Industries and Dr. Squatch collaboration has tried to create an authentic Halo experience not just through the soap’s appearance and scent, but also through its ingredients. According to the press release, ingredients including Little John and Bishops Wort and Sevenbark Root have been specially selected for the soap due to their roots in Halo lore, making the Spartan Scrub soap about as close as possible to recreating a real Master Chief scent.

Halo Infinite-licensed goodies and promotions have already proven to be a hit with fans. Xbox has previously announced partnerships with the likes of Krispy Kreme, the navigation app Waze, and Rockstar Energy drinks in the run-up to the launch of Infinite, with promotions ranging from Xbox donuts and special edition Halo Infinite drink cans, to having the Master Chief direct drivers on their daily commutes. While hot commodities like the Halo Infinite Series X consoles are already being sold by scalpers, it’s hoped the Spartan Scrub will be much easier to get hold of.
