The Hasbro Star Wars team is hosting a Fan First livestream on the Hasbro Pulse YouTube page today and Screen Rant can exclusively reveal some potential additions to the biggest Star Wars Black Series figure ever – The Rancor!

The iconic Rancor, first introduced in Return of the Jedi, is another unique and larger piece from Hasbro that can only exist based on the support of backers through a crowdfunding campaign. Similar HasLab campaigns included The Mandalorian’s Razor Crest and Jabba’s Sail Barge (The Khetanna), both of which easily surpassed their backer goals. If the $349.99 Rancor meets its 9000-backer goal, the project will be available for shipping in 2023.

And like some prior HasLabs, the more backers the Rancor campaign receives the more fun figures and accessories be unlocked and included with the Rancor! Today we can exclusively reveal the Tier 3 and 4 unlocks for the HasLab for The Black Series Rancor. If the campaign is able to reach 16,000 backers, those backers will get a bonus figure –  The Black Series 6-Inch Scale Salacious B. Crumb figure on a mini Kenner-inspired cardback. Once that third tier unlock is reached, then tier 4 will unlock at 19,000 backers and give HasLab backers a newly sculpted The Black Series 6-Inch Luke Skywalker figure! Tier 3 Unlock: 16,000 Backers Needed

This Kowakian monkey-lizard may be small in stature, but its presence is certainly large. In this unlock, The Black Series 6-inch-scale Salacious B. Crumb does not go unnoticed, even on its mini Kenner-inspired cardback. The team drew inspiration for this one from The Vintage Collection’s 2011 San Diego Comic-Con exclusive Salacious B. Crumb figure. Now we’re bringing it to an even more special level by putting it on a cardback celebrating the spirit of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. You can’t find Salacious B. Crumb on a mini cardback anywhere else in the galaxy except here at HasLab.

Tier 4 Unlock: 19,000 Backers Needed

Everyone’s favorite Jedi Knight, Luke Skywalker, gets a fresh look in this unlock. For the first time in 8 years, this specific Luke Skywalker figure will have a newly sculpted photoreal design. A truly epic addition to any display or collection, and an iconic addition to your Rancor display. Without Luke Skywalker’s death-defying encounter, how would we know the ferocity of the Rancor??? Hopefully we won’t have to find out. Luke comes with a removable soft goods cloak, a blaster, and, of course, a lightsaber.
