Alongside plenty of spooky favorites for Halloween, HBO Max’s new additions for October 2022 include the returns of hit series like The White Lotus and much-anticipated Batman content. Considering Warner Bros. is only releasing two more films theatrically through the end of 2022, most of the new content coming to HBO Max this fall will be TV shows. However, the back catalog will undoubtedly be filled with holiday-themed classics as the streaming platform builds its movie selection over the next few months.

The first significant addition to HBO Max in September 2022 was the streaming premiere of Elvis, Baz Luhrmann’s hit biopic starring Austin Butler as the title singer. The month also brought new episodes of HBO’s popular series House of the Dragon, the season 2 premiere of Los Espookys, and the debut of HBO Max’s Magnolia Network Spotlight Page. Closing out HBO Max’s slate of exciting new titles for the month is DC League of Super-Pets, which makes its streaming premiere on September 26.

Coming to HBO Max in October 2022 is the highly-anticipated season 2 premiere of The White Lotus (October 30), the Emmy-winning anthology series now set in Sicily. HBO Max subscribers can also stream the TV show premieres of Pennyworth: The Origin of Batman’s Butler season 3 (October 6), Wahl Street season 2 (October 6), Avenue 5 season 2 (October 10), and Batwheels (October 18). In addition, House of the Dragon’s season 1 finale will premiere on October 23. Here’s everything else coming to HBO Max in October 2022.
