With Hell Let Loose‘s Outflank update now scheduled to go live in a few days, developers have shared details about the new weapons, map variants, and vehicles packed within. Hell Let Loose’s gripping multiplayer offerings differ from the World War II-set adventures in previous Call of Duty and Battlefield entries in that it emphasizes tactics and strategy above all else. Running-and-gunning hardly counts as an option, which, in turn, adds more weight to the incredibly authentic experience. In the coming days, developer Black Matter plans on elevating the title further still with brand-new content.

In a post on the Hell Let Loose Steam page, Black Matter confirmed the Outflank update will arrive on Tuesday, December 7. The team additionally outlined the release’s contents, which include the Panzer IV vehicle, half-tracks for Germany, USA, and Soviet factions, FG42 Automatic Rifle, and the 1897 Winchester Trench Gun. Next week’s update will also debut four map variants – Carentan Offensive GER, Foy Offensive US, Hill400 Offensive GER, and Purple Heart Lane Offensive GER. Plus, players can expect improvements to the UI, audio occlusion, Commander Ability, and Resource Generation.

Hell Let Loose is the end product of a successful Kickstarter campaign that launched in 2017. It released in early access on PC in 2019, then received a full roll out this past summer. Recently, the tactical military shooter appeared on the October 2021 list of PS Plus freebies, alongside Mortal Kombat X and PGA Tour 2K21.

Hell Let Loose is available to play now on PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
