How Kim Kardashian Got Kanye West to Finally Accept Their Divorce

After becoming legally single, The Kardashians star Kim Kardashian has finally gotten Kanye West to accept the reality of their divorce. Kim and Kanye were recently spotted co-parenting together for the first time in months. In the wake of Kanye’s last social media tirade, the rap/fashion mogul is seemingly getting on board with the dissolution of his marriage. He is reportedly committed to co-parenting with Kim, after the SKIMS founder remained patient with her ex-husband.

Kim is no stranger to divorce and handled her third failed marriage well, despite how public things became. However, her ex became more vocal about not wanting a divorce after Kim from The Kardashians started dating Pete Davidson last October. Kanye used interviews, live performances, and social media to let the world know that he wanted his wife and family back together. Kim didn’t budge, and continued dating Pete. She then made a second plea to become legally single. After she was re-granted her single status, Kim dropped “West” from her name. Kim has started being more public with her relationship with Pete.

Now. after getting himself banned from Instagram for a day, and being barred from attending the Grammy Awards, Kanye appears to be finally be accepting his divorce. “At this time, Ye is committed to a healthy co-parenting relationship with Kim and is focused on raising their beautiful children,” a source told Us Weekly. Most recently, Kim and Kanye were seen attending Saint West’s soccer game with their children, North, Chicago, and Psalm West. Paparazzi captured photos that showed the family members smiling while supporting Saint. It was the first time in months that Kim and Kanye were spotted spending time together.

Kim’s approach to divorcing Kanye might’ve been what helped the rapper to finally accept the inevitable. Kim remained patient with Kanye despite how public he made their divorce woes. Kanye would take to Instagram to accuse Kim of trying to keep him away from their children. Only once did Kim leave a comment under one of Kanye’s posts; she denied his claims. She didn’t really need to because the proof spoke for itself. After each time that Kanye accused Kim of trying to prevent him from spending time with their kids, he was seen spending time with one of their children.

The KKW Fragrance founder’s mature approach to the divorce showed everyone who the real problem was. Kim has also refused to bash Kanye publicly. She continues to speak highly of Kanye and shows support for his endeavors. Kim attended all three of Kanye’s album listening parties and even came out in a wedding dress during one of the events, fueling reconciliation rumors. Through it all, Kim has maintained a level of respect for Kanye that was bound to rub off. Now that Kanye has finally started to ease up on bashing Kim and Pete, The Kardashians star Kim can continue to date Pete comfortably while finalizing her divorce from Kanye. Hopefully, things remain amicable as Kim and Kanye enter new chapters in their lives.
