Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs: Legion has officially released, which means eager fans are working their way through the open world of a fictionalized version of London. In the game, players can essentially play as anyone and reasonably explore large portions of the city. Because of this, playtimes will probably vary greatly, but many players are finishing the main story in around the same time.

Watch Dogs: Legion comes with a main story and various multiplayer modes, currently scheduled for an update after release day. Watch Dogs: Legion is without a singular protagonist, which means players recruit NPCs to join a hacker group known as DedSec. Every NPC has their own specialties, but some are definitely more fun to play than others. However, this means players can spend hours recruiting NPCs into DedSec, or just attempt to barrel through the main story as quickly as possible, depending on their preference.

The game is also open-world, which means players can spent lots of time exploring the city. As usual, players can expect to find frenetic violence and gameplay in Watch Dogs: Legion, along with plenty of things to do. Again, this will affect the overall playtime for Watch Dogs: Legion‘s main story. However, based on the number of people who’ve managed to beat the game already, it looks like many are completing the main story in around the same time.

How Long It Takes To Finish Watch Dog: Legion’s Main Story

Reasonably, players can expect to beat Watch Dogs: Legion in around 20 hours. This puts it right on par with the first two Watch Dogs game, which could also be beaten in around that same amount of time. However, players who rush may finish the main story in as little as 15 hours.

Much like the first two Watch Dogs games, Watch Dogs: Legion will have plenty to do outside of the main story. Because of this, it can be easy to get sidetracked. Depending on exploration and NPC recruiting, players could spend 25-30 hours in the game before reaching its conclusion. Although, it’s unlikely many people will need more than those 25-30 hours to finish Watch Dogs: Legion’s main story.

DLC has already been announced for the game, so player who finish Watch Dogs: Legion’s main story should expect more content soon. For now, it seems the average time it takes to beat Watch Dogs: Legion is around 20 hours, which means the third installment in the franchise takes about as long to beat as the other games in the series.
