Ardenweald is an otherworldly leveling zone in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands known for its various secret treasures and hidden stashes players can find and access regardless of Covenant affiliation. Ardenweald is home to the Night Fae Covenant, who serve as guardians of the cycle of life and death in nature. In their home world of Ardenweald, players can take to the skies using bounce mushrooms or a pair of enchanted wings. This often helps them when they need to complete quests or access treasures like the Faerie Stash. Across several of the regions of Ardenweald, players can find dim Lunarlight Pods. These are buds that glow blue until the player runs over them. Players will need to run over a group of them to unlock one kind of Dim Lunarlight Pod treasure.

Players will need to be part of the Night Fae Covenant to unlock the second kind of Dim Lunarlight Pod treasure. This is because the second treasure can only be accessed when an Anima stream to Glitterfall Basin is active. This last treasure is different from the others in a few significant ways, and is more challenging to access. If players are looking for more Anima, Gold, or gear, this is a treasure worth going after. Here’s how to solve the puzzles and access the Dim Lunarlight Treasures in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands.

How to Access the Dim Lunarlight Pod Treasure in WoW Shadowlands

The Lunarlight treasure pod should be marked on a player’s map. For the first three Lunarlight Pod treasures, which are accessible to all players regardless of Covenant, players can find and run over five Lunarlight Pods each in Garden of Night, Glitterfall Heights, and Dreamshrine Basin. These Pods normally stay at their fixed locations close to the treasure pod. Coordinates for each appear below:

Once players run over all five of the Pods at each location, they will be able to access the treasure chest at the specified coordinates. Often these will award Gold or crafting materials.

The final Dim Lunarlight Pod puzzle and treasure is reserved for characters who have joined the Night Fae Covenant. To access it, players will need to route a stream of Anima using the Anima Conductor at the Covenant’s Sanctum to Glitterfall Basin.

Once the stream is active, players should head to Glitterfall Basin and activate the Pods. There are a few differences between this treasure and the others. Because the Pods in this location only grow when Anima is actively channeled to Glitterfall Basin, their number and location changes each time. Players will need to do some scouting to find all of them, and there could easily be more than five.

To make this task easier and avoid wasting time, players can create a /tar Lunarlight Bud macro and use it while exploring the Basin. If players use the macro, they may want to mark the location of each Bud.

Once all the Buds are lit, players should be able to access the Large Lunarlight Pod treasure. This is located at 51.69, 32.39 and will often award Anima items that can be deposited in the Night Fae Reservoir.
