Cliff is back in Pokémon GO with a new team for March 2022. He’s one of the three Team Rocket Admins that trainers can encounter while exploring the world. When spinning a black Poké Stop, players will be given the option to battle against a Team Rocket Grunt. After defeating them, the Grunt will give a Rocket Radar Piece as a reward. Once players collect six Rocket Radar Pieces, they will come together to create the Rocket Radar.

Unlike Grunts, the Team Rocket Admins are much more challenging to defeat. There’s a chance for their first Pokémon to appear Shiny during the capturing phase. Encountering a Shiny Shadow Pokémon is one of the rarer phenomena in Pokémon GO, but it’s not impossible. Since Cliff is just one of the three Admins in the game, it’s likely trainers will also encounter Sierra or Arlo while exploring. Players who want to fight him should ignore Sierra and Arlo and only accept battle with Cliff since this will consume the Rocket Radar once the battle is over.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Like all the other battles in Pokémon GO, the fight with Cliff will be a three-on-three Pokémon battle. The individual with a Pokémon standing at the very end is declared the winner. His first Pokémon will typically be a Teddiursa. It’s fairly weak, so trainers can use a Fighting-type Pokémon to quickly bring it down. The real challenge is introduced when Cliff’s second and third Pokémon is introduced. It will change with every encounter.

Rather, it will be available until the trainer wins the battle. Cliff isn’t the only Team Rocket Admin with a new team for the month of March. Both Sierra and Arlo have their own changes as well, making them stronger than ever before.
