How to Beat The Big Bang Boss in Elex

Elex is an epic RPG that combines different genres together to create a unique experience for players. It merges science fiction, fantasy, and apocalyptic themes to showcase a world for players to get lost in.

Since it is an RPG, players will make choices that either helps them and/or have dire consequences and face different types of enemies including formidable bosses. One of these bosses is the Big Bang and it will take a lot to defeat it. So what’s the best way to defeat the Big Bang?

Take On “The Big Bang” Main Story Quest

Before players face the Big Bang, they must partake in “The Big Bang” main story quest. Duke Logan will give players the mission in the Fort. For this mission, players will travel to an area called “Ruins of the Dome” where they will encounter strong enemies. They must take down these enemies before reaching the Dome, so players should take high-damage weaponry and items that generate health.

Before Fighting The Big Bang Boss in Elex

Before fighting the Big Bang, players will approach the dome area and they will have to jump down to the arena portion. Prior to this, players should save the game and ensure they are equipped with the right weapons for ranged fighting in the form of guns, magic, or whatever else works.

Once that is done, players will then need to jump down to the arena. This will start a cutscene where the Big Bang robot will reveal itself and the fight then begins.

Fighting The Big Bang Boss in Elex

This fight will be difficult as players have to battle this robot without the aid of their companions. Additionally, starting out, the orb-shaped robotic menace will be encased in a force field so attacking it will not suffice.

Players will need to avoid the robot’s attacks in the meantime by keeping their distance and hiding behind walls. Or if possible, get to upper ground via flying to fire down from above. Eventually, the orb will release a smaller robot called Big Bang Workshop that will mine the element Elexit from the ground.

Players should use this chance to attack the robot while it is in the air or mining on the ground using whatever weapons they have. The orb will launch mines at the player to protect the Workshop. Players need to defeat Big Bang Workshop to proceed to the second stage of the fight.

The Second Stage Of The Boss Fight in Elex

For the second stage, the main Big Bang will float in the air and attack with a flamethrower. Players need to keep their distance if they want to avoid getting hit by the flamethrower by constantly moving.

Unlike the first stage, the Big Bang is now susceptible to regular attacks at all times. So players need to deal damage from afar until the boss’s health meter runs out.
