Bowser Blocks can be found all over Lake Lapcat in Bowser’s Fury. This guide will show players how they can break them. Bowser’s Fury is the new additional content that came along with the Super Mario 3D World Nintendo Switch port. The game was a big hit when it released on the Nintendo Wii U, but the console itself struggled to make a name for itself. Many players around the world decided to ignore the console, whether it be for Nintendo’s marketing strategy, the strange touchpad controller, or the limited library, many things can be accounted for the Wii U’s failure. With the Nintendo Switch port, the title now has a chance to reach a brand new audience. This port even comes along with online multiplayer, allowing players to connect and share the entire campaign from start to finish. Bowser’s Fury is a massive selling point of this port. This guide will show players how they can break the Bowser Blocks in Bowser’s Fury.

Unlike the main game of Super Mario 3D World, Bowser’s Fury returns Mario to the open-world sandbox experience he’s been known for since Super Mario 64. Players will spend the majority of their time searching for collectible Cat Shines. Players will need to collect enough to save Bowser from whatever it is that is corrupting him. When exploring Lake Lapcat, players will run into these Bowser Blocks that they cannot open. This guide will show players how they can break them.

How To Break Bowser Blocks in Bowser’s Fury

Mario cannot directly destroy the Bowser Blocks himself. Rather, the player will have to wait until Bowser takes the stage and begins to attack Mario. The player will then need to lead Fury Bowser to the location of the Bowser Blocks and his fiery breath will destroy them. Although, Fury Bowser will stop at nothing from attacking Mario so be careful when engaging.

For those players with a Bowser amiibo, they can use it to instantly summon Fury Bowser and save a bit of time. Several items and Cat Shines can be found hidden behind these Bowser Blocks so make sure to keep track of where they are in Lake Lapcat. In order to unlock the game’s secret ending, the player will need to collect all 100 Cat Shines. Breaking these Bowser Blocks will help players reach that goal. This is one of the most enjoyable additions to come to a Nintendo Switch port of a Wii U title.
