Players are able to change up their outfits in the NieR Replicant Remaster. This guide will show players how to do it. Currently, the game features a handful of additional costumes for players to unlock throughout the game. Although, players who picked up the costume DLC for the Yorha characters of NieR: Automata might want to change as soon as possible. This DLC is completely free and available to access from the very beginning of the game. Although when the player boots up the game, there doesn’t seem to be an option to change just yet. This guide will show players what they need to do to change their costumes.

It’s important to mention that the costumes added from the DLC or from unlocking them through the main story don’t actually do anything in terms of gameplay. These costumes are strictly cosmetic and don’t provide the player with additional buffs or bonuses. Regardless, additional costumes are all about expressing yourself in the game where players have minimal control of what happens in the story. Finding where to go to change your costumes isn’t exactly super obvious either. Players will need to go out of their way a bit to access it. Here is how players can change their costumes in NieR Replicant.

How To Change Your Outfit in NieR Replicant Remaster

First, players will need to have alternate costumes ready to go. This can either be through the Yorha DLC or through the costumes players unlock by progressing through the story. From here, head back to the title screen and go to options. Players will then need to scroll down to Wardrobe and the player will now be able to change their costumes from Boy, Adult, Kaine, and Emil. It doesn’t show you the costume in action until you boot up your file again. The game also doesn’t allow you to change your costume from within the file. If you wish to change again, you’ll have to head back to the title screen and repeat this process.

The Yorha outfits are a nice touch for fans who enjoyed NieR: Automata. That was was praised for its fast-paced gameplay and in-depth story that put the NieR franchise on the map. This remaster is likely the first time many players are trying out this story. It will be interesting to see where the series will go from here. NieR Replicant continues to be a big hit for Square Enix.
