Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer survival game developed by Behaviour Interactive. Their four year anniversary event started on June 23 and will last until July 7. The event is complete with confetti and balloons in The Fog, cosmetic items, and a time-limited game mechanic.  

Collecting most of the Dead by Daylight 4th Anniversary exclusive items is as easy as logging into the game during set times throughout the event. Others will take a little more effort from the player by successfully completing trials with specific win conditions. Overall, new cosmetics are always a welcome addition to a heavily customizable game like Dead by Daylight.

Dead by Daylight Anniversary Crown

Dead by Daylight is introducing new surprises, as well as The Anniversary Crown. If the golden pillar is found and interacted with, it will give Killers and Survivors a golden glow. If the player survives or completes the round while the glow is still active, the player will unlock the Golden Crown Cosmetic. Titled “Crown of Entity the Great”, only original survivors or killers can use this cosmetic on one of their characters. The downloadable characters from Halloween, Left 4 Dead, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and other licensed franchises are not eligible for the golden crowns.

Dead by Daylight Week 1 Awards

Rewards that can be received for logging in to Dead by Daylight during week one of the event (June 23-30) include outfits for Claudette and the Deathslinger and the Fourth Anniversary Charm. The Pecan Crown can be collected by logging in from June 23-25, the Fitted Button Up from June 25-28, the Radical Badland Grit from June 28-30, and the 4th Anniversary Charm from June 23-30. The Pecan Crown and the Red Radical Badland Grit can be equipped by the Deathslinger, and the Fitted Button Up can be equipped by Claudette. 

Dead by Daylight Week 2 Awards

Rewards that can be received for logging in to Dead by Daylight during week two of the event (June 30-July 7) include outfits for Claudette and the Deathslinger, and a Year Four Cake charm. The Woolen Berret can be unblocked from June 30-July 2, the Red Peak Jacket can be collected from July 2-5, the Skinny Denim from July 5-7, and the Year 4 Cake Charm from June 30-July 7. The Woolen Berret and Skinny Denim can be equipped by Claudette, and the Red Peak Jacket can be equipped by the Deathslinger.

These outfits that can be acquired for Claudette or the Deathslinger are lined with gold cracks. In addition to these cosmetics, the game has implemented themed hooks, lockers, generators, and other items gathered through the Bloodweb, a metaphysical concept that can be accessed by players. Purchase Nodes using Bloodpoints to unlock items. 

Another celebration-themed touch, instead of spurting blood, attacked characters will spray confetti. Keep an eye out for 4th Anniversary-themed items that are available through the Bloodweb. 

Dead by Daylight is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC.
