Persona 5 Strikers is a hack-and-slash action RPG that gives players a variety of ways to enhance their characters and abilities. Facing off against shadows in the metaverse requires not only Joker, but the entire Phantom Thieves Troupe and their skills in top form and condition. More importantly, upgrading the Phantom Thieves and their Personas requires the use of Persona Points. Persona Points or PP, are completely separate from the EXP points visible from the stats menu. Earning PP might seem difficult, but there are a couple of methods to obtain them and increase their acquisition rate.

The Velvet Room is our main resource for upgrading Personas. There, players can Fuse, Upgrade, or Register their Persona’s with the attendant Lavenza. The first two options require an immense amount of Persona points as Joker’s level rises. Fusing Personas takes two existing Persona’s in Jokers collection, executes them, and combines their essence into a brand new Persona. To do this, the level of the combined Persona must match Joker’s level or be lower. Anything higher will be restricted from creation regardless if the Personas needed for the combination are in Joker’s possession. Upgrading is just as simple as it sounds, for every level players add to the upgrade, the amount of PP needed increases almost doubles. Also, players cannot upgrade the Persona in question past Joker’s level. As mentioned before this can be expensive, so here are some ways players can ease that burden.

How to Earn More Persona Points in Person 5 Strikers

Earning Persona Points starts occurring naturally as players continue to play the game and progress in the story. The first method would be to enter battles/encounters as frequently as possible. This includes using lampposts and either object that allows Joker to hide and ambushing any enemies along the way. Each fight nets some experience as well as some Persona Points once the battle is concluded.

The next and more difficult method is by earning masks. As players will see, Joker has a special ability that allows him to collect multiple persona’s. Players will occasionally notice a mask glimmering on the ground after randomly defeating a Persona. Collect it, and a new Persona should be within Joker’s arsenal. For every mask Joker picks up, Persona Points will be amassed since technically, he cannot hold duplicates of the same Persona.

The number of points may vary depending on the rarity, type, or level of the Persona. The last and most lucrative way to earn points is by dismissing any Persona’s collected. Register them with Lavenza before dismissing them or players will have to farm for them all over again. Dismissing Persona’s nets a pretty good amount of points, so holding on to Persona’s with repeat abilities and stats is pointless; since they can be recalled from Lavenza’s records.
