In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, the decision to sell Rocket in Chapter 4 will result in the Guardians crossing paths with Lady Hellbender’s drones. The drones require more cunning than brute force to evade, and they threaten to defeat the Guardians if players are not careful. Star-Lord has to quickly come up with solutions every time they’re encountered.

After failing to sell Rocket to Lady Hellbender, the Guardians of the Galaxy are forced to leave her throne room to find an alternate route out of the palace. Infuriated by Rocket’s attack in her throne room, Lady Hellbender unleashes her drone on the Guardians once they land in the tunnel. The drone will fire a series of lasers that cover the entire tunnel, and slowly make its way towards the Guardians. Touching the lasers will result in instant death.

Once Lady Hellbender calls in her first drone, the Guardians of the Galaxy don’t have any clear options to immediately escape its lasers. Star-Lord can use his elemental blasters to freeze and slow the drone down temporarily to buy himself and the team more time, but the drone cannot be completely destroyed.

Use Star-Lord’s Visor To Escape the Drones in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

To defeat the first of Lady Hellbender’s drones in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, players will need to exploit a design weakness in the nearby crane. Facing the drone, players should look up and to the left at the chain attached to the crane. For a better look, players can use Star-Lord’s Visor Scanner to locate the interactive object. Star-Lord can shoot the chain to create an opening on the left platform after the crates fall. Drax’s Guardians of the Galaxy 2014 movie costume is just ahead of this location as well. While the team takes a left, continue going straight until Star-Lord reaches the very last platform to find this outfit.

The second time the Guardians encounter Lady Hellbender’s drones is within a tunnel that has no clear exits yet again. Two drones slowly push toward the Guardians, and, once more, Star-Lord has the ability to slow them down with his elemental blasters. He can freeze the drones, then use the Visor to scan the broken platform in the tunnel. Star-Lord should issue orders to Drax to break the platform and open a new escape from the tunnel. This will be the last time the Guardians have to face Lady Hellbender’s drones, and the next challenge they face will be figuring out how to escape Lady Hellbender’s vault.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is available for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
