How to Fight Jose in Persona 5 Royal (Tips & Strategies)

Jose is a new character introduced in Persona 5 Royal. This guide will help players learn how to battle and defeat him. Persona 5 Royal includes several hours of new content not previously available in the base game. This content includes new characters to build confidants with, an entirely new third semester, and a new Palace for players to explore. Along with all of this new content, Jose is one of the newest characters that can be found wandering about in the Metaverse. This guide will help players learn what it takes to battle him and defeat him in battle.

Jose was previously unavailable in the base Persona 5. Occasionally, players will be able to encounter Jose riding around in his mini-car around the Metaverse. He has littered stamps all around Mementos and will reward the player for collecting them. Also, players can submit the Will Seeds they find from within Palaces and turn them into helpful items that the player can equip. While his design may seem cute and innocent, this boss in itself is one of the hardest in the game. Here’s how players can defeat Jose in Persona 5 Royal.

How To Battle and Beat Jose in Persona 5 Royal

The player will need to collect 123 stamps scattered around in Mementos. This includes the stamps found in the Path of Da’at. Once the player has done this, they can head over to the cognition control room. Speak with him and he will mention how he’s stuck in his progress understanding humans and will challenge the player to a fight to help his progress continue. Here’s how to take him down.

To win this fight, it is best to bring Persona with powerful Magical abilities. Jose is completely immune to Physical attacks, making them useless for this fight. To win, focus building stat boosts strictly for Joker. Joker will have a Persona that allows players to hit multiple foes at once. Boost Jokers attack and evasion every chance the player gets. Also, focus on healing him when his HP is lost. Using a party member to focus solely on restoring SP is the best way to go about this fight. Repeat this process until Jose has been defeated.
