Defeating bosses also give specialized loot that players can use to either sell or craft epic weapons that will help them on their quest. People like merchants, wizards, and nurses will be available to help out players by trading items for coins and also selling much-needed equipment. It’s also possible to save different characters throughout the game and have them show up at players’ homes. How To Get A Pet Fairy In Terraria

Fairies come in three distinct colors; pink, blue, or green. They don’t really have different attributes that can really help out players throughout the adventure. Instead, their colors are pretty much cosmetic. Players can find fairies in pretty much any biome. All they need to do is dig around until one eventually pops up. Now, there are two ways to capture a fairy and make it a pet. The easier way is by purchasing a ‘bug trap net’ by a merchant for 25 pieces of silver. Once players have it, it’s fairly self-explanatory. Just swipe the net around until one is snagged. They’ll be put in a jar and players can place them in their homes on shelves for safekeeping.

An alternate way to obtain a pet fairy (and more difficult) is by crafting a ‘Fairy Bell’. The first thing that players should do is purchase 1 bell by the mage for 1 gold coin. After that, players will need to fight their way through different biomes and find pixies. Finding these little flying creatures will give the player ‘pixie dust’ in which the player will need 25 of them. After these 2 items are collected, the next thing to find is ‘8 souls of light’. Getting this can be a little bit of a grind since it entails slaying hard mode, underground enemies. This can take a little time to get done, so finding a good place to farm them is ideal. It’s suggested to focus on the “Underground Hallow”. That’s a good place to find ‘Souls of Light’ and stack them up. The last thing to get is 10 ‘Soul of Sight’ from ‘The Twins’. The Twins are a mechanical hard mode boss that can be summoned by using the ‘Mechanical Eye’ manually between 7:30-4:30 at night.

After everything is collected, players will need to find either a Mythril or Orichalcum anvil to craft the bell. The bell is an item used in hard mode in which either a; pink, blue, or green fairy will show up and light up dark areas and gives assorted buffs. Fairies can come in handy because not only do they light up dark areas, they also point out important hidden items. Usually, fairies will only spawn in areas that have a least 1 fallen log somewhere. Alternatively, shaking a tree at the “Hallow” during the night gives a small chance of a fairy appearing. However, this can be a rare occurrence. Just know that with the bell, fairies will arrive to aide the player regardless of the situation of the area.
