Maguu Kenki is one of the newer bosses that has been added to Genshin Impact. This guide will show players where they can find them and how to defeat them in battle. Genshin Impact is currently celebrating its Midsummer Island event. With this event, players are able to take to the seas in their new Waveriders and explore brand-new islands that have never been seen before. Through this, players are able to discover new lands, items, event-exclusive materials, and more. Since this is an event-timed location, tons of its enemies (including its bosses) will only be available for a limited time. This guide will show players how they can find Maguu Kenki and defeat it in Genshin Impact.

Players will come across Maguu Kenki when exploring the Golden Apple Archipelago. It’s one of the main story quests in version 1.6 that players will need to complete to progress through the event. Although, players are able to rematch this enemy. A big part of why players will want to take it down is because it’s one of the bosses that drop ascension items for a variety of characters. Those looking to pull for the new character, Kazuha, will need to battle this enemy for its items. For those players looking to grind up materials and build up their teams, Maguu Kenki is the boss players will want to defeat. This guide will show players how to defeat it in combat.

How To Beat Dual Maguu Kenki in Genshin Impact

Maguu Kenki is a puppetmaster that will use his toys to attack the player. Players should bring along characters that do melee attacks (Swords or Claymores) for this battle since bow users will have a hard time landing attacks. It’s important to maintain your HP in this battle so bring along a healer like Barbara or Jean to keep it up. Also, keep track of your stamina for avoiding a variety of his attacks. His phantoms will not be able to take damage directly so players should focus on avoiding them to get close enough to deal damage to the real body. Get close enough and play patiently to take down this boss.

Since this is a seasonal event, Maguu Kenki will likely be moved to a new location. The Golden Apple Archipelago will be removed from the game once the event is over. It’s likely its new location will be moved onto the mainland to allow players to keep participating in this battle. Players will also need 40 resin in order to collect the rewards at the end of the battle. It will be interesting to see where the developers plan on dropping this boss next.
