Unovian Stunfisk was introduced back in Pokemon Black and White with its Galarian form introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield. There isn’t really anything interesting or important about this Pokemon. It’s not great in battle, its typing is fairly basic and its design is one of the worst from that generation. Regardless, the Pokemon did come back into relevance with its Galarian form. Players will need to capture it to have every Galarian Pokemon in the game. This guide will show players what they need to do to capture it.

How To Find (& Catch) Galarian Stunfisk in Pokemon Go

There are currently two ways for players to find Galarian Stunfisk in Pokemon Go.

  • Eggs: At the time of the writing of this article, Galarian Stunfisk will appear in the 7km egg group. It’s fairly rare, being a part of the Tier 2 Rarity chart along with other Galarian Pokemon like Ponyta, Meowth, and Farfetch’d.
  • Trading: Players can find a Galarian Stunfisk by trading with a player who has one. This would count as a special trade, meaning it would cost the player tons of Stardust to complete the transaction.

Galarian Stunfisk doesn’t really have much of a difference when compared to its original form. It also doesn’t evolve or change in any way shape or form. Regardless, players should try and collect them all when they can. Galarian Pokemon are the last set of Pokemon introduced into the series so it may be a few years before the rest of them are introduced into Pokemon Go. The game hasn’t even added every Kalos Pokemon to the game just yet. They will continue to drip feed them little by little. Galarian Stunfisk is just the beginning of what’s to come.
