It was a premium event where players could buy tickets for Special Research Tasks and the chance to encounter Shiny Pokemon of all 151 Pokemon. Free-to-play players were also able to participate in a few events as well. After the event, all the Kanto Pokemon have their Shiny forms remaining in the game, allowing players to find them. For players who picked up the Kanto Tour pass, they will be given Special Research tasks that will provide them with a guaranteed Shiny Ditto upon completion. Once it is captured, it has the chance of transforming into a Ditto. Overall, it is completely up to luck to find a normal Ditto, let alone a Shiny one. The best thing to do would be to continue capturing these Pokemon when encountering them in the wild.
