In Pokemon Go, these Pokemon are fairly common, but in the case with Fletchling, it and many other Kalos Pokemon have their spawn rates decreased shortly after their debut. Shiny Fletchling will be introduced into the game on March 6th at 11 am local time. During this time is the March Community Day, where a specific Pokemon is celebrated and their spawn rates are drastically increased. If players are lucky, they should be able to find a Shiny Fletchling. The Community Day lasts for 6 hours, giving players plenty of time to capture more than just 1 Shiny Fletchling. From experience, the best way to find a Shiny Pokemon during Community Day is to just tap them on the map and run away if they aren’t Shiny. The game will spawn several of these Pokemon at a time, making it easy to find the Shiny version. While it isn’t guaranteed, it is very likely that players will find at least one Shiny Fletchling.

Players should also use this opportunity to gather enough Fletchling candy to obtain a Talonflame. If players evolve their Shiny Fletchling into Talonflame on Community Day, they will learn an exclusive move called Incinerate.
