This is a premium event, meaning players will need to spend money to participate. This event lasts for 12 hours so make sure to stock up on several Incense items and Lures to increase your chances. If you’re set on finding just the Shiny Ponyta, focus mainly on finding that Pokemon first and ignoring the rest. Once the player is able to find it, capture it, and give it 50 Ponyta Candy to evolve it into a Shiny Rapidash.

The Kanto Event is a perfect opportunity for new players to go back and capture the Pokemon they might have missed. The first generation is the most important to the history of the franchise.
