In Paper Mario: The Origami King, Mario, and Luigi are attending an event being held by Princess Peach. Once Mario arrives, the player will immediately realize that something is off about the Princess. She has been folded by the evil Origami King Olly, the main antagonist of the game. It is up to Mario to save the Princess and the rest of the castle from King Olly, who has transformed the castle into his own origami creation. Ribbons are scattered around the land and it’s up to Mario to reach each ribbon and release its grasp. Here’s how players can find Diamond Island in the game.

Here is a step-by-step guide to find Diamond Island.

  • Step 1: The player will need to arrive at Bonehead Island first. Bonehead Island can be found at 5G on the map. Find the giant fan on the island to clear out all of the fog for the rest of the sea.
  • Step 2: Head to Full Moon Island at 3F. The player will need to fish for the Sidestepper at the pier. Then, use the magic circle to find the chest with Mushroom Handle.
  • Step 3: Head over to Mushroom Islands at F4. Use the Mushroom Handle to open the door of the house on the island. Go to the other side and find Luigi. He will give Mario the Diamond Key. Go speak to the Origami Craftsmen in the basement of the house.
  • Step 4: Head to D3 and dive underwater to find Diamond Island. Use the Diamond Key to unlock the way in.

Paper Mario: The Origami King has been positively received when compared to the last two entries. The game features an open-world similar to the previous game entries like The Thousand-Year Door and features an interconnected world with secrets to discover. Players can find hundreds of Hidden Toads folded and hidden around every corner. Finding all of these Toads is one of the most enjoyable parts of the game. Paper Mario: The Origami King is a wonderful upgrade for the series.
