Dragonhusk Shards are a valuable crafting item in Monster Hunter Rise. This guide will show players how to obtain this item. Monster Hunter Rise players will spend a large chunk of their time replaying missions to grind for certain materials. The thing is that certain materials only have a chance of appearing at specific locations. Players will need to repeatedly check these areas to find the materials they are looking for. The same can be said about the Dragonhusk Shards. Once a player knows where to look, it’s much easier to find it by replaying missions. This guide will show players the best place to grind for Dragonhusk Shards.

Depending on what set the character is running will determine which weapon or armor set the player will seek. Regardless, the player will need Dragonhusk Shards to craft them. This guide will show players where they can find them.

Where To Find Dragonhusk Shards in Monster Hunter Rise

For starters, the Dragonhusk Shards will only appear in the Flooded Forest, Frost Islands, and Lava Caverns map. The player will need to head over to Bone Piles in High-Rank areas. It isn’t guaranteed that the Dragonhusk Shards will appear inside of these piles but this is where they have the chance to appear. If you can’t find them in your first run, simply retry the mission and try again until it appears. Just keep searching inside of Bone Piles until it makes an appearance.

It’s currently unknown if Monster Hunter Rise will have the level of post-launch support titles like Monster Hunter World has received. The game has gone on to ship well over 5 million copies and has been a system seller for some. It will be interesting to see what new locations and additions will come in the future if they decide to do DLC. Nintendo and the Monster Hunter series have had a close relationship for generations. Hopefully, new content will make an appearance in the future.
