Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl contains Pokémon trainers at every turn, including the lost girl, Mira. Mira can be found in Wayward Cave as part of an early game side quest. Players will meet trainers throughout their adventures in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl, but Mira stands out as an interesting encounter. Mira is one of the trainers scattered throughout BDSP who introduce the player to the concept of Double Battles.

Side quests are found regularly in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl in peculiar locations. Finding Mira activates one of the earliest available side quests in the game. After players follow the main story and clear the Galactic Building in Eterna City of enemies, they can encounter Mira. No matter which version exclusives players own, they should be able to defeat enemies in the Galactic Building. Players must find the portion of Route 206 that runs underneath Cycling Road. Following this route, players will find a hidden cave entrance to Wayward Cave.

SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

Entering Wayward Cave introduces players to a vast cavern filled with inactive trainers. Players must traverse through Wayward Cave, defeating any trainer battles that may get triggered. Several items are also found around the cave in various locations. Players must make their way to the very back of the cave to find Mira, the little girl with pink hair. After talking to Mira, players will find out she got lost inside Wayward Cave.

Finding Mira Inside Wayward Cave In Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

Mira is in need of directions to find her way out of Wayward Cave in Pokémon BDSP. After speaking to Mira, players will trigger the cave full of trainers. Anytime players pass through a trainer’s line of sight, they will trigger a Double Battle. During each of the trainer battles on the way out of the cave, Mira will serve as the player’s Double Battle partner. Despite Mira’s small stature and innocent demeanor, she is an ally whose power must not be underestimated. She may not be a Pokémon champion, but her power is more than sufficient to defeat Wayward Cave trainers.

Mira participates in Double Battles using a supportive Kadabra. Players can play off Mira’s Kadabra as a support Pokémon to help their main Pokémon in the battle. Players must make their way out of the cave the same way they came in, defeating trainers along the way. There are no item rewards for escorting Mira to the entrance of the cave, but the side quest does introduce players to new mechanics. After players bring Mira to the entrance of the cave, they will unlock her as a partner and opponent in the Battle Tower during Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl’s endgame. However, a Pokémon rematch against Mira won’t come easy; be prepared for her Kadabra as an opponent.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl are available on Nintendo Switch.
