The world of Immortals: Fenyx Rising is vast, which can make traveling the lands difficult. Luckily, players are bound to run across a mount every once in a while. Whether it be a stag or a horse, players will have their options on how they want to travel across the Golden Isle.

Taming mounts isn’t difficult once players start to get the hang of it and know where to look for them. Players who are looking for the perfect mount have come to the right place!

Taming Mounts in Immortals: Fenyx Rising

There are 25 different types of mounts players can choose from, and each type is a little different from the last. Some will have more stamina and can run longer distances while others just look cooler. Although there are nine epic mounts for players to find later in the game, practicing with not as fabulous mounts is a great way to start.

When players find the perfect mount, sneak up from behind the creature. Players should definitely use the environment to their advantage. Take a look around for any tall grass or flowers around the beast so players can conceal their location. Keep an eye on the yellow eye symbol to ensure that Fenyx isn’t noticed by the mount.

Once close enough without scaring the beast, players will need to press the action button to tame the beast. This also makes the mount useable in future endeavors. For the PS4 and PS5, players need to press triangle to tame the mount. On the Xbox One and Xbox Series X, press Y. On the Nintendo Switch, players need to press X, and for the PC, the button is E.

Once tamed, players will be able to use the mount whenever it’s convenient by simply pressing and holding the same button used to tame the mount. The mount will suddenly and magically appear below Fenyx and will be ready to cross the Golden Isle!

Mount Locations in Immortals: Fenyx Rising

Mounts can be found all over the Golden Isles. Although there are 25 mounts in total for players to find throughout the map. Mounts are really just about everywhere players want to hunt. The only place players will struggle to find them are around the Gates of Tartaros and the northwestern part of War’s Den. Outside of that, Mounts can be found almost anywhere.

There is one mount that came to players as a preorder bonus. The rainbow pegasus called Spring is caught after players leave Clashing Rocks. Once leaving Clashing Rock, players will have a quest called When The Road Gets Rocky. Follow that quest chain, including Luck Be A Laurel and The Future Is In Music, to find the brand new Rainbow Pegasus Mount.

If players are looking for any of the nine legendary mounts that can be found here:

  • In the Valley of the Eternal Springs is the Indika Mount. This mount is rare to find and looks like a blue unicorn. It’s a very fast horse with a lot of stamina.
  • The Laurion Mount is found roaming around the Clashing Rocks.
  • The Tyrian Mount can be found on the southern tip of the Valley of the Eternal Spring, just west of the Clashing Rocks. Wonder around until you find it.
  • The Paragon Mount can be found in War’s Den, head towards the eastern part of the map to find this beast.
  • The Guardian Mount is in the Grove of Kleos at the northernmost point.
  • Head towards the Forgelands to locate the Antikhytera Mount.
  • The Aethon Mount hides somewhere in War’s Den, but won’t be accessible right away. This fire horse can be found after Fenyx deals with corruption in the area.
  • Head to King’s Peak to find the Asphodel Mount. The glowing purple stag can be found in King’s Peak just east of the eagle statue. Head down a small ravine to find where the Asphodel hides.

Although these nine mounts are great for any player to have, they’re not the only mounts players should look for. There are plenty of cool common and rare mounts, and being legendary alone doesn’t make them perfect.
