How To Find The Ballistazooka in Mortal Shell

Mortal Shell’s time period is hard to nail down. Its world contains a mixture of relatively accurate swords and shields, fantastical magic items, and a few larger than life weapons with crazy names. One such weapon is the Ballistazooka. This weapon is a highly sought after and monstrously effective weapon for blasting down the many enemies of Fallgrim.

The Ballistazooka isn’t hard to find but is relatively difficult to obtain. Rest assured, players won’t be disappointed by the time it takes to get this weapon because of its superior firepower. While it has a rather long reload time, one shot from this beast is enough to get most jobs done right. Here’s how to get the Ballistazooka in Mortal Shell.

Unlocking the Ballistazooka in Mortal Shell

The first thing players should do is locate all of the objects needed. The Ballistazooka is located within Fallgrim tower. Players will simply need to climb to the top of the stairs and take a right. There will be a workbench with a weapons box on top of it. Selecting this box will display the available weapons for players to unlock. The Ballistazooka will be the fourth option within the box.

Unlike most weapons within Mortal Shell, the Ballistazooka isn’t something that simply needs to be purchased with enough Tar. The Ballistazooka is a broken weapon that players will need to repair before they can use it. While this method of repair will require a significant amount of Tar, players won’t be able to do the repairs without visiting another merchant.

Vlas is a rather chubby merchant who resides within Fallgrim tower in a corner that is sometimes hard to notice. From the workbench, turn to the left and head out of the doorway. There will be a path that leads players to walk underneath the large bell that is chained to the building. Follow the path under the bell and up the stairs to the left. Vlas will be waiting for the player at the very top. After some choice words, Vlas will open up his shop.

The player will need to purchase Tools from Vlas. These should be the final option in his shop and they will cost 8000 Tar. Collecting that much Tar can be a pain for players who aren’t fully familiar with the enemies in the area just yet. Enemies here are incredibly tough and aren’t very easy to take down. One good method of avoiding the risk is to collect Remnant, Congealed, Slurry, Nascent, and Extracted Tars. These are items that contain large amounts of tar for players to access later. They aren’t taken from the player’s inventory upon death. Crack open as many of these as possible to afford the Tools. Now all players will need to do is buy the tools and return them to the workbench. The Ballistazooka requires nothing other than being activated after this step.
