Battle-royale game Fortnite has made a name for itself by constantly changing the game with frequent updates. With these updates have come brand new maps, special limited-time events, unique game modes, and a large array of different weapons and items. These updates and special events have kept players coming back to the game for years now, and it’s why players will most likely be playing for many more years to come.

Just ahead of Easter Sunday, Fortnite has decided to toss in a few items and events centered around the holiday. One such item is the Egg Launcher, which has made appearances on Easter since Season 3 of the game. This year though the method of acquiring the Egg Launcher is a little bit different, so players may not realize what they need to do. This guide shows players how to get their hands on the Egg Launcher.

Fortnite: How to Acquire the Egg Launcher

The seasonal Egg Launcher has actually become a lot easier to acquire than it was in the past. First and foremost players are able to find the weapon in pretty much any place that normal weapons appear. There are versions of the weapon from Uncommon all the way up to Legendary. This means that players will be able to find Uncommon and Rare versions of the Egg Launcher in pretty much any chest or ground spawn area in the game. The rarer versions of the weapon will come from Supply Drops or other special ways to acquire weapons.

There is a brand new method that has been introduced to help players acquire the Egg Launcher though. Rather than leaving it up to chance, players can instead track down an NPC named Webster who likes to hang out near the Gas Station south of The Spire. If players manage to track this NPC down they can actually give him 400 Gold Bars in exchange for an Uncommon Egg Launcher. There is sadly not any way to purchase the higher-tiered versions of the weapons though, so players will instead have to search for them. The Egg Launcher is an extremely powerful explosive weapon, so spending these bars to get their hands on this weapon may prove to be a very wise decision for most players.
