How to Find The Secret Boss in Deltarune Chapter 2

Players can battle a secret boss in the newly-released Deltarune Chapter 2, but the fight isn’t easy to find. Similar to the secret boss in the game’s first chapter, players must take several specific steps to access this confrontation.

The fight itself cannot begin until players get to the Queen’s Mansion in Deltarune Chapter 2. From the entrance room, they will need to use the Warp Door to travel to the Trash Zone. They will need to travel to Spamton’s shop, which is available after he is defeated in combat earlier in the game. Eventually, Spamton will ask to make a deal: he wants an EmptyDisk from the Mansion basement.

Spamton sells a KeyGen that will unlock the Mansion basement. Players can purchase it from his shop and return to the Mansion’s entrance through the Warp Door. In the easternmost room of Floor 1F, after the traffic puzzle, there is a secret passageway in the area full of statues and paintings.

How To Get The EmptyDisk In Deltarune Chapter 2

If players previously completed Hacker’s blue checkmark quest, he will be in the room and point out the passageway. If he is absent, players can interact with each of the pixel-art rectangular blue vases until the passage is revealed. This path leads to a room with the basement entrance. The KeyGen can bypass the forcefield on the right and enter the door labeled B1F.

Players should follow the path down to the main area, which has a save point and a forcefield blocking the passage to the right. Taking the left hallway and going through the last door leads to a seemingly empty room, but a teacup ride will appear on the left. Players can ride down, interact with the forcefield switch, and take the ride back up.

From the main room, players should turn right down the newly-opened hallway. This passage leads to a tunnel with several sets of roller coaster tracks. Through the second door, players can enter a room with a decrepit statue in the back right corner. Interacting with the statue rewards the EmptyDisk.

How To Start The Secret Boss Fight In Deltarune Chapter 2

To start the secret boss fight, players must exit the basement and bring the disk to Spamton at his shop. Spamton writes over the disk, now called LoadedDisk, and returns it to the player. According to him, the disk must be placed back in the statue in the Mansion’s basement.

Back in the statue room, players can insert the disk and interact with the statue several times, but it will claim nothing happens. However, upon returning to the room with the roller coaster tracks, Spamton – in a new boss form – will confront the player. After a cutscene, the secret boss battle with Spamton NEO begins.
