A big part of the game that has recently gone viral is all the different Mii options available for customization. Players can pretty much create anyone they want with enough time and effort. For those looking to get more gold to purchase better items and equipment, this guide will show players how they can do it.

Players will want Gold to purchase things down at the Inn. Players can then select the Mii they wish to upgrade and provide them with new equipment and power gear. Gold is obtained throughout the game by defeating enemies and finding it out in the open but if there’s something in particular that you’re saving for, it can be difficult to purchase those higher tier items. This guide will show players a few ways they can grind for gold.

How To Get More Gold in Miitopia (The Fast Way)

There are two main methods for players to earn tons of gold within a short period of time.

  • The Arcade Prize Wheel: Players can spin this wheel to earn an item. Players can then sell this item for additional gold. For those players with additional amiibos laying around, each one of them can be claimed once for 3 game tickets. This is a great way to earn tons of cash.
  • Rich Snurp: This method can only be done once the player has unlocked access to the post-game. For this method, head over to the New Galados area and participate in its gold route. There is a 50% chance players will encounter a Rich Snurp on their first encounter. Defeating these will provide players with 20k gold upon defeat. Players can repeat this process to farm for the most gold.

Miitopia is one of the few Nintendo 3DS titles to make its way over to the Nintendo Switch. While the Nintendo Wii U has seen most of its major titles make the leap, only a select handful of 3DS titles have joined the roster. Hopefully, with the success of Miitopia, more 3DS titles can join the growing Switch library.
