Monster Hunter Stories 2 has many Monsties to get, and the most recent update has the Palamute up for grabs. The Palamute appeared in Monster Hunter Rise, and players clamored to see this furry puppy make its debut. It is a very straightforward way to get one, although something to keep in mind is that players will have to progress a bit through the storyline and attain rank five to get them. Once there, the quest board is going to be the way to get them.

The Palamute is known for being a buddy in Monster Hunter Rise, where players can ride them into battle, making them fiercely loyal to the player. They could have their equipment, such as head armor, chest armor, and weapons, to make them formidable buddies in combat. The Palamute in Monster Hunter Rise allowed players to run across the field without any loss of stamina. They were also able to participate in coordinated attacks, explaining why the Co-Op Quest board would be the first step in getting the Palamute in Monster Hunter Stories 2.

How To Get The Palamute In Monster Hunter Stories 2

Beginning the hunt for the Palamute in Monster Hunter Stories 2 starts at the Quest Board. Head to the Co-Op quests, and there will be two Palamute quests to choose from. Both are Exploration quests, and they are called Palamute Home and Palamute Den. To get the quests started, players will need special Palamute tickets. Getting the tickets is done by going to the regular quests on the board and doing the special quest called Throw Me A Bone. The quest asks to deliver five Monster Bone+ where tickets, Zenny, and EXP are the reward.

Another way to get tickets is to go to Melynx Inc. and exchange bottle caps for tickets. After getting the quest started with the tickets, be sure to explore all areas in the mission because there are nests with eggs that can hatch a Palamute. There are also plenty of bottle caps and other fantastic items along the way. Doing the expedition with an SR ticket creates a higher chance that the Palamute will have better genes, making them much more substantial later on. The color of the egg will also determine the type of Palamute players will get. The Palamute is available in all the different element types, making it a great choice to fill out a team with any glaring holes.
