How to Get The Gorilla Arms in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is all about upgrading V’s body with Cybernetic enhancements. Eventually, V will be a living, breathing Robo-Criminal. Upgrade V’s legs to jump higher and run faster, V’s eyes to scan more objects and improve hacking, V’s arms to spring giant blades from the forearms, aka The Mantis Blades.  The list goes on and on. Players will have no shortage of variety when building their underground Terminator.

The point of Cyberpunk is for players to build V to support their personal playstyles. That, and eat Pineapple Pizza. With an infinite amount of ways to earn XP and Street Cred in Night City, players will have a wide-open path ahead of them. The Gorilla Arms will improve V’s overall hand-to-hand combat drastically. V will punch with the force of a semi-truck. Player’s can also rip doors open and hijack better cars.  This guide will walk players through how to get the Gorilla Arms in Cyberpunk 2077.

Cyberpunk 2077: Where to Find the Gorilla Arms

The first thing to know about Gorilla Arms is they’ll require just as much Street Cred as the Mantis Blades. Players will need 20 Street Cred to start buying these high-end upgrades. This is why players must level up Street Cred before worrying about their overall level. Keep in mind that there are two different versions of the Gorilla arms that V can purchase from Ripperdocs. Players can find low-tier Gorilla arms from Victor, the Ripperdoc V met at the very beginning.

While these arms will give V a significant boost in his overall strength and hand-to-hand combat, they’re nowhere as powerful as the Legendary Gorilla Arms. Use these low-tier Gorilla Arms as an early game enhancement. They’ll come in handy when doing the first few street fight missions. Players can find these on the cheap end, about 15,000 Eurodollars.

If players really want to pack a punk, they can purchase the Legendary Gorilla Arms from a Ripperdoc in the Downtown area, West of the City Center. The Ripperdoc can be found all the way on the Westside. Be ready to spend a pretty-Eddy though. The Legendary Gorilla Arms will cost just over 100,000 Eurodollars. Players will also want to invest in mods such as Animal Knuckles to upgrade their Gorilla Arms further. Hopefully, V’s been grinding and saving cash while venturing around Night City.

Now that players have bought the Gorilla Arms, it’s time to upgrade them. Players can purchase the following mods from Ripperdocs around Night City:

• Animal Knuckles – Causes internal bleeding to any enemy V punches with the Gorilla arms. Deals damage over time.
• Rin3u Battery – Will restore 100% of V’s stamina after killing an enemy with the Gorilla arms.

Both these mods will cost 5,000 Eurodollars a piece. Considering the Legendary Gorilla Arms already set V back 100,000, the extra 5k shouldn’t be an issue. As players continue to explore the wide-open world of Cyberpunk 2077, we’ll see if there are any hidden mods or upgrades. However, these discoveries will most likely be made on PC or Next-Gen as last-gen console players are currently seeking refunds for Cyberpunk 2077.
